Beco Santa Emília 2I is a renovated, air-conditioned apartment for two, in a central part of Funchal but away from noisy bars — for those who want to be close to everything and get around on foot.

The apartment is 54 m² and comprises a bedroom with a queen-size double bed (160 × 200 cm), a living room with a dining table and a kitchen, and a bathroom. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and is accessible by lift and stairs.

The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator and freezer, a washing machine, a ceramic hob, an oven with microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi (200 Mbps), a TV with international channels and other amenities to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay.



📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD

The apartment is located in a quiet street close to the city centre, 300 m from the Town Hall and 750 m from Mercado dos Lavradores. The Old Town, Funchal Marina and seafront are less than 15 minutes away on foot.

Nearby there are cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, grocery stores, wine cellars, shops, museums, pharmacies and clinics.

Although a car is not necessary, there are two public car parks 140 m from the building. Free parking possible at night and weekends in nearby streets.

The Aerobus stop is at 850 m. There are bus stops 150 m away and by car there is easy access to Funchal's main roads and the highway to discover the island.

There are security cameras in the building's common areas, outside the apartment.

Although it is a quiet street, this is a city apartment and there may be traffic noise at peak times and noise from neighbours on the street. Temporary noise from repairs in neighbouring apartments may also occur.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

If you have special needs or allergies, please contact us before booking so we can confirm whether we are able to accommodate them.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
