Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean but.......the bathroom smelled AWFUL. It smelled so bad I gagged everytime I went in. I don't know if it was all the bathrooms, or just mine but it smelled like a sewage leak in there. Other than that the bed was comfy and the tv was nice. Luckily we were able reserve a room here. We took less than 10 mins walking from hotel to JR station which facilitate travelling to other scenic spot in neighboring cities. Loads of local food places nearby. The aircon in the room wasn't amazingly powerful, compared to others where it would feel like walking into the tundra, this was more like being in a soft breeze. The rooms are small, as expected, though the bed is halfway between a single and a double. We did discover, though, that when having a bath, leaving it to drain meant the water would flood out from beneath the sink. Didn't happen when having a shower.
