Well, that view!!! It’s stupendous. You won’t find a better one on the island. My friend and I spent many happy hours watching the waves crash in (storm out at sea, we presumed) and really didn’t want to leave to catch our flight home. The house itself is even nicer than in the photos, very clean, welcoming and modern. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is a real bonus. The kitchen has everything you might need, except a decent kettle (the one provided looked to us like a keep-hot jug). But we happily boiled water in a pan. Problem solved. A few things to note … the little seafood shack/restaurant close to the house has, we were told, “permanently closed”. That was a real shame. You can go to the Puerta Princess hotel, a few minutes’ drive away, and you can eat at their restaurants if they’re not too busy. In other words, you can’t bank on it. A little further afield, there’s a fabulous taverna on the beach at Puntalarga, really delicious food there, and very friendly service. And at the salt pans, there’s a top-quality restaurant (formerly Michelin starred). Again, wonderful food and Canary Island dishes to try. On the other hand, buy food at one of the two supermarkets in Fuencaliente and enjoy them looking at the view from the house! While you’re there, buy bottled water as the supply at the house is not drinkable. If you forget, no problem, as the host kindly leaves three large bottles out for you. Oh, did I mention the view?!? :))))) ##### Janet W. Prachtige locatie, heel mooi net appartement Uitzicht op de baai en de prachtige zonsondergangen maken het een superplek. Es ist immer wieder schön, so nah am Meer zu sein. Das einzige was stört ist das Stromagregat vom Kiosk (über PV nachzudenken tut vermutlich weh) und Leute die mit ihren Dieselstinkern die frische Meeresluft verpesten, nur um einen Blick aufs Meer zu haben. Wir haben in dem tollen Haus in Fuencaliente unsere Flitterwochen verbracht, die wir uns nicht schöner hätten vorstellen können. Die Lage des Hauses ist phänomenal. Das Meer direkt vor dem Fenster ist einmalig. Das Haus selber hat eine tolle Aufteilung und ist schön eingerichtet. Die Duschen sind gewöhnungsbedürftig da nicht all zu viel Wasser raus kommt und dieses nicht durchgehend warm ist. Auch der leichte Geruch der Sickergrube vor dem Haus ist ab und an störend aber nur wenn man sich vor dem Haus aufhält. Trotz kleiner Mängel kommen wir gern wieder, da es dort einfach nur traumhaft ist! ##### Ines D. Balkon und Terrasse mit diversen Sitz- und Liegemöbeln, Aussendusche, eigener Zugang zum Strand über Treppen. Ein Schlafzimmer mit Meerblick, tolle Küche, schöne Bäder. Betrieben mit Solar. Der Kiosko gegenüber bietet super frisch und super leckere Fischgerichte und Meeresfrüchte. Holzkohle- und Gasgrill vorhanden, Parkplatz auf dem eigenen Gelände. Mietwagen nötig. Wunderbarer Blick auf Strand und Felsküste. Sehr gute Lage für die Erkundung des Südteils von La Palma. Schnelle und problemlose Kommunikation über das Portal bzw. Sehr ruhig gelegen mit traumhafter Aussicht auf den Atlantik. Wir haben zwar mit dem Vermieter und dem Hausverwalter keinen persönlichen Kontakt gehabt aber es hat alles super geklappt. Mit dem Verwalter Manolo hatten wir per WhatsApp Kontakt wegen fehlender Auflagen für die Liegen im Garten . Stayed 7 nights in Apr 2022 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Ursula W. 29 Apr 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Toller Blick auf schöne Bucht Wie hatten keinen persönlichen Kontakt mit dem Vermieter oder Verwalter vor Ort, aber alles hat gut geklappt, da wir das Haus schon kannten. Die Lage über der Bucht ist traumhaft, die Unterkunft und Ausstattung sind gut. Die Dusche funktioniert bei ausreichend Sonne gut, anderenfalls schwanken die Wassertemperaturen extrem hin und her (falsch eingestellter Durchlauferhitzer?). Leider trübt der Generator vom Kiosk je nach Windrichtung, Meeresbrandung und persönlicher Empfindlichkeit die ansonsten idyllische Lage etwas. Man kann sicher damit leben, aber die Stunden ohne Generator waren angenehmer. ##### Ursula W. Wir konnten schwimmen und schnorcheln. Der kleine Fischkiosk bietet sehr gute Speisen und Getränke mit freundlicher Bedienung. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, Die Aussicht aufs Meer und den Sternenhimmel sind spektakulär. ##### Ulrich S.
