The home was very clean, had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. The view of the Colorado National Monument was amazing from the front patio and out the windows. Perfect for watching sun and moon rise and set. If you are a golfer you can walk to the 27 hole golf course! We spent a day at the Monument which is a must see! This property was perfect for our long weekend getaway. It's close enough to downtown Fruita that going to the food truck rally and farmer's market was quick and easy, but secluded enough to feel like you can really connect with nature. It would be an excellent place for stargazing, and we enjoyed seeing quails and lots of other birds from the covered porch. The horses in the adjacent pasture were fun to watch, too! The home itself was great. The side entry opens to a mud room/laundry room with a nice bench and hooks to hang coats and purses. A comfy and cozy living room was just right for relaxing after a long day. The kitchen was fully stocked (including tupperware!) and the water from the fridge was perfect.
