We were unable, however, to lower the temperature in the condo. We came home from dinner one night and it was 80 degrees inside - with the thermostat set at 65\. We opened the windows (20 degrees outside) but were only able to get it to cool to \~75\. After placing a call to the management company, this seems to be an issue with the complex as the HOA recently made changes to the heating system. I wish we would have known this before we rented. As a homeowner and tradesman, I do know how to adjust or turn off a typical thermostat. The heat seemed to be on all the time even after I set it all the way down. We had to open doors and windows to temper the heat. Pretty hard to swallow $450/night(a stretch on our budget) and not be comfortable.
