"What a unique destination and fabulous hotel and spa! The service we received from all the staff was professional, helpful and friendly! The room far exceeded our expectation and the attention. To detail and delicious food were “next level”. Honestly, this was our favourite part of our journey!"

Gorgeous view and most comfortable bed! Lovely bedding, nice terrace, very helpful/friendly staff !
Only issue, was a tile on balcony not fixed that was only outside the door “coulissamte”.
If I was to come back to La Baule would definitely stay here again.
Also, very nice breakfast! Lots of options and delicious!

You need to have a car to drive into Arcachon and the surrounding bay as there's nothing in walking distance. But if you have a car - this is perfect. Clean. Good breakfast. Quiet. Free parking. Excellent.

Beautiful hotel if your aim is to just flip flop around, lounge by the pool and soak up the sun and smell the surrounding pine trees. Think little lizards, pine cones and pina coladas.
We had an upstairs room which had the most beautiful view. All the rooms face out onto the sea, and you get a beautiful light over the water in the evening. The balcony’s are mostly shaded too which is a good thing, it helps to keep the rooms cool.
You can hire bikes (€14 / half day) and cycle across the island...

Plenty of parking, the staff were soo lovely, very friendly and helpful, one love lady printed off a list of recommended places for dinner and was extremely helpful. Our room was spotless and the beds very comfortable, everything was to our expectations and more!

I would give this six stars if I could. It was excellent in all areas. The staff were wonderful and treated us as individuals and welcome guests. The restaurant was marvellous as was the spa. The room was spacious and comfortable.
An exceptional experience.

The hotel in lovely and obviously caters for the ‘Up Market’ clientele that they get given the proximity to the fashionable town of Biarritz, however Breakfast was not included and cost 26€ each!!!!! Far too much for a continental breakfast with additional hot items extra! Also be aware you are right next to an airport and will get occasional jet noise (not that busy though.

To stay at this hotel is to experience gracious living and elegance at its very best. We started coming here three years ago.to celebrate our wedding anniversary and now make a point of coming back each year. The hotel remembers each year the reason for our stay without reminding and go out of their way to make our celebration special. It is little touches like this that make the Palais the very special hotel that it is. Apart from the hotel, Biarritz is a very special place to visit. It should...

Chose a stay in La Rochelle randomly, for a few civilised days by the sea (after being landlocked in the Charente with group of friends). A local friend warned us about the town being car hostile, and (especially during rugby tournament) extremely lively at night. We found Central Park just off the city centre, with a local parking (fairly essential if you are driving), and separated from the town by a beautifully maintained park area. Hotel clean, quiet, comfortable, and unostentatious, with a...

We had a great stay in Nantes. The hotel was very central. Room was comfortable and even had a coffee machine. We could walk every where and followed the green tourist line everywhere..
We would love to visit again and would choose the same hotel

The hotel is very close to the submarine pens in Saint Nazaire, which was part of the reason I visited the area.
The staff in the hotel, that I interacted with, were all very polite, helpful, courteous and professional. The hotel was being used by quite a few marine engineers whilst I was there as the massive docks that Saint Nazaire is famous for are a short distance away, I had quite a few funny interactions with them so thoroughly enjoyed the fact they were there. Good restaurant next to hotel. We could actually walk to a lovely beach within 20 minutes so no parking charge.
It was also easy to reach other attractions as road connections were excellent. The only problem we had was there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but apparently this will soon be made available. Overall excellent stay.
