"Victor welcomed us into his home and took us on a tour so we could familiarize ourselves. He also sent a document with a quick overview and important notes about the property and surrounding area. The house was great! Our group of 7 fit easily, with plenty of communal spaces. The property itself was also amazing. "We may have had terrible weather, but we still loved our time at Quinta Do Loureiro. Our children adored picking oranges and making fresh-squeezed orange juice, and Francisco was a wonderful host and kept us well supplied with firewood for our stormy stay. "The location of this villa is ideal if you want to separate yourselves from crowds and drink in nature and peaceful views. "Our hosts, Maria Eugenia and Jose, were amazing! Kind, informative, generous, helpful, I can't say enough about them. We stayed for four days, two couples in the larger home. It was spacious, each couple with their own bathroom. We ate most of our meals at home. Our comadre caught a cold right upon arrival. She had a comfortable place to read, rest and recover, while we enjoyed the pool and had such a wonderful outing in the boat on the Douro river. This was definitely a once in a life time...

"Fatima welcomed and attended to us as if we were family. Deonilde delivered fresh bread in the morning and did our laundry. The view was spectacular, especially poolside. Carmen was very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome and gave us all the privacy we needed - the perfect host.
