BoisD’Arc Bungalow and Suites - private Studio Type Suite - queen bed

PLEASE, allow us to spoil you, as you DESERVE while you are away from home. We would love to have you stay in one of our 3, completely private suites, each with their own entrance. Our main Bungalow is a 1927 Sears Roebuck catalog home and in some areas of the building if you are sitting, looking up - you could see some of the original laborer’s handprints! Guests, if you are visiting our area for a special occasion, we love to do a little extra for our guests on ‘THEIR SPECIAL DAY’, so if you are having an anniversary or birthday getaway, Please let us know! Our Bungalow has been completely updated with all the modern conveniences, but still keeping that rustic, elegant look of the Texas Hill Country. Large front porch with comfy furnishings, for relax’n and sipping, while enjoying the landscaped yard and if you are lucky you may see the deer grazing nearby! Our Yellow Wood suite is a rather cool little ‘studio type’ suite. This suite has a queen postered bed with luxury linens - cozy comforter and multiple pillows - room darkening drapes - ceiling fan and table fan on side of the bed - ‘smart’ TV - electric fireplace - TV trays - 2 recliner chairs - cozy lap blankets, for those chilly nights if needed - ceiling fan - and on end table a dish of Chocolates - ENJOY! The little dining area has a nice round table with 2 chairs - coffee closet with small refrigerator, that has milk, juice, butter - tea pot - kcup coffee pot, with lots of different coffee’s - blender - small Air fryer - wine glasses - and in another microwave cabinet which has different fresh fruits - dishes - silverware - cereals - PLEASE, enjoy all the goodies provided for your continental breakfast. In that same cabinet are extra pillows and blanket - plus, plenty of drawer space. Your private bathroom has a large custom tiled spa shower with body jets and a rain showerhead - of course shampoo, conditioner and bath body soap, a portable shower seat and grab bars - fluffy towels - toilet is chair height with grab bar on wall - single sink vanity with large mirror - a makeup area with bench - hair dryer - soft cotton bath robes for our guests use - and large closet. Our guests, in all 3 suites have access to our Common Area - which has a ‘smart TV’, - Please note, we DO NOT have cable anywhere, only streaming capability. large comfy sofa, 2 tall occasional chairs, a recliner and footstool, plus a desk area with supplies. There is a front load washer and dryer room, with all supplies needed for washing your clothes. A 1/2 bath - just in case your Honey, is taking way too long in your bathroom! Lol Another kitchenette area with full size refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee pot, convection microwave, toaster oven, wine glasses - just in case you have guests come and you do not want to entertain them in your private suite. Or you are here with a group and y’all want to relax a bit have a pot of coffee, visit or maybe have a beverage of some sorts! For your days out-n-about, we are located within walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants, the Calioux preforming arts area, VK garage theatre , the Schreiner museum, an Arts museum, coffee and ice cream shops, dive bars, HEB, wine bar and several breweries, boutique shops and antique shops, just about 1/3 mile from the municipal golf course and not far from Schreiner College, Peterson hospital, the VA and the State hospital. The James Avery jeweler originally started his business here in Kerrville and they have a beautiful store and museum not far out on Harper road and on the same road is a great place for breakfast or lunch - they also have music sometimes on the weekends and a awesome nursery on the same property! And please visit the beautiful ‘Open Cross’ and all the life size bronzes they have to enjoy - it’s absolutely beautiful at night!! Then we have the Western Arts museum to check out - plus, you can’t miss the brunch or lunch at Camp Verde and it’s amazing history. Kerrville is a great base for motorcyclists, bicyclists and old car enthusiast - Texas Highway 39 hugs the Upper Guadalupe River, we are not actually on TX 39 BUT can serve as a great staging point for the rest of the Hill Country, no matter which direction you choose to go! We are close to Bandera, Leaky, Lost Maples State Park, Medina, Comfort, Ingram, Hunt, Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, Sisterdale, Boerne, the 'Three Twisted Sisters', etc.. You could even go on a day tour of the nearby wineries, And of course you are only about 20 miles from Fredericksburg’s wineries, breweries and distilleries and shopping! Lol After your long day, come back, catch your breath, wind down and relax on the covered front porch! Again, we would love to have y’all stay with us! Thanks ‼️
