When we checked in, there were 2 pickup trucks with worker/construction type men sitting in there- at 3 pm. They were still there an hour or so later, when out Daughter arrived to pick us up for dinner. They were still there when we got back and after we visited with our daughter in our room for a while, my husband walked her out to her car. They were still there. They were not threatening, but the fact that we had seen them there sitting in trucks in a remote part of the parking lot was concerning. We had no safety issues in the hotel. Our car was not broken into. But we were concerned. I’m not sure we would return to this hotel.

The only good thing about this property, is the location if you're wanting to be near a few of the restaurants and bars in downtown Fredericksburg. The hotel room is very, very outdated and had overwhelming cheap cleaning supplies smells, probably to cover up a musky, old smell, and the walls are thin, so you can hear everything from other guest's rooms. I will not be staying here on next visit to Fredericksburg.

First night we got there the room keys wouldn't wont. Had to take them back past 11pm to get them rekeyed. The toilet was leaking water on the floor from the tank. We woke up to water all over the bathroom floor. The second day i had to get the room keys done again cause the first night the employee only set them up for one day and were staying 2 days. The place is outdated and the AC are not on when you show up so the room is very humid. The location is pretty good but not close enough the main street to walk over. All drives to main spots are not to long. I personally will not stay here again but the cost per day should be good enough for a one day stay and go.
