Welcome to The Hive! This country-comfortable, newly renovated home by Hexagon Designs, has it all. Located on the edge of town, where deer are abundant and are daily visitors.
As you step into The Queen, you are greeted with touches of hexagons and bee themes. Dine at the full-size reclaimed wood table, or hang out at the bar. Enjoy gameday or a movie lounging in front of a 55” TV, or step back in time and take a shot at foosball. Velvet sofa to lounge on or sink into one of the two oversized bean bags.
The fully equipped kitchen is ready for your culinary talents or you can grill outdoors. Each of the two bedrooms are furnished with 400 thread count linens on king size beds, and the primary bedroom has a half bath en-suite. The Queen is surrounded by nature, so while you are enjoying charming Fredericksburg, take advantage of the peacefulness in the hot tub, the firepit with your favorite Texas wine, or play yard games! Whatever your plans, The Queen of the Hive is where to bee!!

#### Loved the space, fire pit, and hot tub
We had a blast. Beds are large and comfortable. Hot tub is wonderful. The kitchen needs more silver ware, but everything else was perfect. It’s dark on the road at night, but we cooked in and spent lovely evenings in this beautiful home.

#### Could have been better
Let me start off by saying, we have stayed at multiple absolutely charm properties and they are always top notch. However, this one was not that way. At first impression, the yard was all overgrown and poorly maintained. We picked a property with a hot tub since it's not too hot yet and we couldn't even use it. The cover was off so the hot tub was full of dirt. The backyard was so overgrown we were afraid of getting chiggers and there were ant beds everywhere, we couldn't even sit around the fire pit either. Everything outside was dirty and the yard games were broken. Really big turn off when we usually spend a lot of time outside. Not many complaints about the inside, the beds were really hard but other than that everything inside was great.

#### Secluded, quiet, dirty shower
Very cute home, decorated nicely, quiet country living and short drive to Fredericksburg. The hot tub and giant bean bags are super fun! \*\*\*\*However, the shower was dirty upon our arrival and we didn’t notice until later that night when we had no opportunity to contact the host for someone to come clean it. There was long black hairs on the walls and tub of the shower. Yuck! Plus, there was a giant 3 inch scorpion in the hallway that we had to corral out the front door. The next day I texted the owner about the dirty shower with no response... I reached out to the host and explained that I would like a discount off the first night because showering in someone else’s filth is gross! They denied me a refund because it was “unwarranted” as they had sent housekeeping to “reclean” the shower while we were away that day and without my knowledge. I even contacted Vrbo and they were more apologetic about the situation than the host was! Vrbo contacted the hosts and they still did not refund me a dime. I am not one to write bad reviews and I understand things happen sometimes, but I’m very disappointed by the lack of accountability from the hosts, lack of communication from the owner, and blatant disregard to discount one nights stay for a dirty shower that should have been cleaned before I arrived there.
