The front bedroom with it's bird theme has two twin beds while the middle bedroom with it's traveler's theme has a queen. These bedrooms share a bath with tiled tub/shower. The Master bedroom has a king bed and has a bath will large !led shower. Your hosts have a real talent for taking the old and making it look like a showcase. This is evident down to the original pecan floors in the house and the tiled floor in the kitchen. The large covered outdoor patio is perfect for morning coffee and relaxing in the evening. Fitted with vintage barn lights this little barn oozes eclectic—meets flea market treasures. It is the perfect place to relax!! LOCATION - Less than a mile from Main Street shopping & easy access to 290 Wine Trail HOSTS - Private home to yourselves BREAKFAST - Coffee and teas are left SLEEPS - Up to 8 persons; King bedroom, queen bedroom, bedroom w/ two twins & queen sleeper sofa in den area BATH - 2 full baths; Master en suite bath has a large walk-in shower & double sinks , 2nd centrally located bath has a shower KITCHEN - Fully-equipped kitchen with range/oven, large refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker and dishwasher AMENITIES - CH/A, 45” Smart TV (no television programming), WiFi, fully-equipped kitchen, desk area, outside covered patio, charcoal grill (no charcoal provided), off-street parking w/ 2 carport spaces CHILDREN & INFANTS - Ages 6+ only PETS - YES (Limit 2, under 25lbs. The location is good and even though it is on a busy street the traffic noise is not bad. The home is spacious and comfortable and the large fenced backyard was great for our little pups. First of all, there was dog hair everywhere! I realize it was pet friendly but it was excessive. Neither of the bathrooms or the bedrooms had locks on them. Mostly not a big deal but one bathroom is right off of the kitchen and with kids, you have no idea who will walk in. The kitchen had very limited cooking utensils. We found a dog brush in the same drawer as some of the utensils! There is no table set up so we had to move it out in order to eat our meals. The small bathroom smelled like sewage for two days. And lastly, I realize it was mentioned in the listing but the road noise is excessive. ##### Kayla S. Unfortunately stayed here Dec.21-24\. If I could give zero stars, I would. This renovated house is on an extremely busy street which runs into a main thoroughfare. There is Constant Traffic noise all day and night; not just cars but large trucks. It sounded like they were coming through the master bedroom. I called the Property Owner immediately after the first night when none of us had slept. It was clear she wouldn’t refund any of money we spent. This was our family Christmas vacation and it was horrible because none of us slept. I’ve been using VRBO for over 10 years and never had to make a complaint. The property owner doesn’t care, that was clear. She never checked on us after I made the complaint after the first night, and we couldn’t find other accommodations since it was Christmas. They should be ashamed to rent this property at such a high price knowing of this issue. No integrity or honesty. I would NEVER recommend this place or Gastehaus Schmidt, the rental company. ##### Melinda S. Good sized living room, decent kitchen, and comfortable patio. There were three bedrooms with plenty of space for everyone that stayed over. I want to point out a couple of things. The Wifi didn't work and most of our bathroom towels were wet/damp. I reached out to the owner and they never answered. That was frustrating. Fredericksburg is a great town and this place is nicely located. easy enough to get to all the wineries. ##### Alberto T.
