We had a wonderful time at this property! It was a very cozy, unplugged weekend in the hill country. The room was well appointed, and the highlight was the outside area with the hot tub that was very hot and the large firepit with smores. We had a great time and would love to return!

Very private and cute

Small and simple just what I was looking for, private and cozy. Loved staying here with my husband. Decor is super cute and the cleanliness was great. The host left us popcorn, s’mores kit and hot chocolate, such a cute and simple touch. My favorite part was the hot tub and the starry night for star gazing! The neighborhood was a bit sketchy but the whole surrounding was other rental homes so I assume it is safe.

NO WIFI OR CELLULAR SERVICECasa Agave is a beautiful concept. While the property does provide an unplugged experience, it does not offer ANY cellular service or WiFi. As the property is about 30mins from Main Street Fredericksburg, we found it to be a safety hazard. Additionally, upon contacting the host, we did not receive a response for over 14 hours AFTER we contacted Vrbo for assistance. Beautiful concept for a couple to experience together however, not ideal for those with children, persons with medical needs or those who may need to be reached for other reasons. 2 stars given as I did receive a 15% refund.

Great off the grid location

It is a cute little getaway. Exactly what was needed to unplug from our busy life. The property was very private and quiet. Be prepared to not have any internet services. Make sure to take a screen shot of all the information to get into the property and any where you want to travel to in the area. We ended up visiting the little gem right next to vrbo. Old tunnel state park. You can watch the bats in the evening and hike to see the tunnel during the day. They provide a grill for cooking. Small little kitchen with an induction cooker. Sink and small refrigerator. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and cozy.

Great start, infuriating end.

My partner and I stayed one night here and had a lovely time. The location and accommodations were as the listing describes. However, I left valuable belongings by accident and the property owner (after confirming that my items are, in fact, in his possession) will not return my messages or work with me on returning my personal property. I have messaged repeatedly, explained how important this is to me, and even offered to make the 5+ hour drive back to retrieve my items. The lack of integrity is appalling. I will gladly update my review if my belongings are returned. You've been warned.
