Our family of 5 had a lovely stay at Prost Haus! We visited Fredericksburg for the weekend and had everything we needed at this house. It was conveniently located very close to downtown, had plenty of parking space, was clean, and had a beautiful outdoor space for lounging after a full day of activities. The rental company was also very responsive and helped to make it a very smooth renting process. A toilet didn't work. They called to say they would try to find someone, but it was a weekend and might not be until Monday. We were checking out on Monday. Someone did come out, but they didn't fix it and there was no follow up or customer service after that. The coffee pot was old and small. The master bathroom shower was uncomfortably small as the shower head faced the wrong way. There is not firepit. It's not close to downtown, but that could be a matter of perception on my part.
