Cabin was amazing! Everything we could have asked for and more. Location was quiet yet close to everything. Place was very clean and smelled great! Cant wait to return.
Perfect location and just as described. Romantic getaway for two! Made my first trip here WITH my husband just perfect. The host were amazing with communication and thought of every perfect detail.
Fun, unique place as described with many antique details of interest in the decor and a luxurious hot tub. We really enjoyed this as a birthday getaway. Thank you!
The house was fantastic with the hot tub and sauna as well as the comfortable bed and living space. Highly recommend a stay at this place. The location was convenient to everything we had planned.
This was a beautiful historical cabin brimming with history and antique touches. From the soft bed to the star gazing in the hot tub with a glass of local wine, the cabin makes this perfect weekend getaway for you and your loved one.
Beautiful log style cabin with a very comfortable bed! Deer in the yard in the mornings. Very close to all the wineries and a short drive into Fredericksburg downtown. Would stay here again!
The cabin was so amazing! Little cozy cabin just right for us!! The host did an amazing job with the request I gave her! The hot tub was a great addition and will definitely book again!!!
This was the perfect place for our first vacation together. The cabin was exactly as advertised! The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was an amazing place to relax and stargaze after a day of exploring Fredericksburg! Thank you for having us!
It was just perfect! Private, away from downtown area. Home has everything you need. The hot tub is awesome. So nice to look up at the stars and the lights hanging were a really nice touch.

This little cabin is amazing. It was very tranquil and relaxing. If you enjoy space from the hustle and bustle this is the place. The photos do not do it justice, it was fun to feel like we stayed in a part of history.
Property was very clean....quiet and secluded enough to where You felt at Peace. It is also a very short drive into town and surrounded by Winery's....if you are into that sort of thing;). We will definitely make a return visit!
Cozy historical cabin! It is in close proximity to everything, including Main Street. Loved seeing the deer in the yard. Hot tub was a plus after spending the day out on the town!
Loved the cabin’s location! Close enough to town and all the activities but away from the crowds when it’s time to relax. Best of both worlds. Close to Trade Days and numerous wineries on the east side of Fredericksburg. Loved the hot tub and relaxing front porch! Super comfy bed, too! Would stay here again.
We spent two nights and it was very comfortable and very relaxing. The hot tub was nice in the evenings. We do recommend this spot however, if Wi-Fi is important to you, this is not the place for you. Otherwise, it was amazing.
This property was everything we could have dreamed of. My husband and I both said when we walked in we felt like we just belonged there. It was very relaxing. The sauna and hot tub were a huge plus. We came for his Birthday and he wants us to come back for our anniversary.
Stayed here for my wife’s birthday. She loved the antique cabin and atmosphere. I thought that access to the hot tub was directly in the backyard but it’s actually in a side yard, still private setting but not direct access. Enjoyed the convenience of the location.
The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. It was located close to down town but still secluded. There is another rental by it but very seldom saw them. Loved all the deer, the bottle of wine was lovely, hot tub was nice and my husband found a book he wants me to order so he can read all of it! Thank you for having us!
We had a lovely time at the cabin for Christmas. The host decorated the outside with a wreath and lights and put a beautiful little tree inside. She also left wine, chocolates and waffle mix with syrup. The hot tub was hot and made for a wonderful treat on the cold evenings. The bed was so comfy! We had plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. The kitchen is equipped with a full fridge, microwave, toaster, waffle maker, toaster oven and one burner induction stovetop. There isn’t a full stove or oven but we had everything we needed to make a simple Christmas dinner. Who goes to Fredericksburg to do a ton of cooking anyway?! Lee even invited us over for tamales!
Pro Tip: Don’t run the microwave, burner and toaster oven at the same time. You will pop a breaker and won’t be able to reset it yourself. I should have known better but coming from a modern house, I didn’t think about it.
IMPORTANT: I lost some two-tone dangly earrings while there. They were a Christmas gift, and I’m so sad about it. I searched high and low. If any future guests find them, I will gladly pay for return shipping. Please just ask Lee for my contact information.
