The Red Door Bungalow is a delightful three bedroom, two bath cottage just a few blocks from Fredericksburg's famous Main Street shops, restaurants and art galleries. The cottage is decorated in upscale urban-chic style and offers that clean, refreshing feeling that today's guest is seeking.
As you enter the cottage, you will appreciate the large open kitchen with high-end appliances, combined with a large, sunny dining area. Directly behind, you will find a spacious, comfortable den with a large flat screen streaming television. The bungalow's split floorplan includes a beautiful master suite off the den, offering peace and privacy. The master includes a beautiful king size bed, sitting area, and large flat screen television. It also boasts a huge en suite bathroom that includes a large walk in shower as well as his and hers vanities.
Off the kitchen you will find the other two bedrooms which share a bath. One bedroom includes a queen size bed, and the other includes two twins. They share a bathroom that has a tub/shower combination.
The Bungalow is excellent for couples or small groups of up to six individuals. If you are looking for a clean, modern, spacious Texas vacation rental close to Main Street, then the Red Door Bungalow in Fredericksburg is just the place for you!

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.

We had a short family visit to Fredericksburg and this place fit our needs perfectly. A little far from Main Street but you can still hear the music at night from the fire pit in the backyard. Lovely!

50th Anniversary

Was in town for an anniversary party at a winery. The house is not walking distance to the main st. But very close. The backyard is gorgeous. The master bedroom is secluded!

Our stay at Red Door Bungalow was a respite amidst the storm of an unexpected re-plumbing of our entire home (as locals here in FBG). This home worked out perfectly, and we are so appreciative of Absolute Charm and this welcoming home. We highly recommend both. The lot where this home is located is beautiful. The location is fantastic. The primary bedroom and bath of this home are most excellent. Convenient location

The location of the home was very good. The home was very clean and the yard was great for our small dog. Check in time was 4PM which is later than most homes we have rented. We had a light over the dining area that did not work and when reported it was immediately fixed, so would rated the service as excellent.

Perfect place

Large home with everything you need. We were 3 girlfriends and plenty of space. The backyard and parking were perfect. It's about a 10 minute walk through a beautiful neighborhood to get to the main street. Wine tour will pick you up and drop you off at the house. Highly recommend!

Spring break chillin

The house was spacious and very comfortable for our group. It was centrally located; so getting around Fredericksburg was quite easy. Would definitely stay again! My only suggestion would be for management to check ceiling fans and lamps. Several lightbulbs were either missing or not working. Otherwise, great place!

Cozy Get Away

Great location. Safe and quiet. Cute house. Comfortable beds. Need a hook or rack to hang up wet towels in the master bath. It would have been nice to have a small table with cubbies to put our personal toiletries on in the other bathroom. We were not given any check out procedures so we did what we thought we should do. We even put the garbage can out on the street to get emptied on garbage day. It was definitely a place we would come back to!

Girls Weekend!

We stayed 2 nights for a girls weekend and had plenty of room. The beds, towels, bathrooms, and pillows were all so comfortable. We loved the giant leather sectional couch for movie night and the large table for game night. We had a blast watching TV on the large screen in the living room and master bedroom. We loved the sheets, blankets, and overall decor. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals and bake desserts! Very nice grass in the back yard, but would have loved to have had a hot tub or updated patio with yard games. *We did have to buy dish washing liquid and a dish sponge from the store to wash our dishes, but everything else was provided. (the house had shampoo and soap in shower, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and laundry detergent) Plenty of blankets and extra pillows were provided. They even had floor fans in the closet in case you needed it. Air conditioner work EXCELLENT! Bring socks for the wood floors, a very nice floor plan for everyone to have their own space! Such a beautiful place to stay!

Great Christmas vacation

This house was perfect for our family groups. We rented for a week and had a family group with kids for the first part and then later in the week, after they left, another couple met us. The house was very comfortable for both groups. The dining and kitchen area was spacious and our main place to hang out. The kitchen had granite countertops, a large sink and two huge refrigerators. The house was well stocked including small individual creams for morning coffee which was much appreciated. There were ample dishes and cutlery. Limited selection of pots. Nice Keurig coffee maker and coffee pods. The den was a step down from the kitchen, so the floor plan flowed well. The den had a large leather sofa and a separate seating area to read. The master suite was palatial. Great king bed, double vanity and great shower. There is a large backyard with patio seating and seating around a firepit. The house was impeccably clean. The neighborhood was quiet and very well kept, and a 2 minute drive to town. We typically drove and parked versus walking as there were no sidewalks and we found the streets a little busy and dark at night, so while the distance is totally walkable, it wasn't practical for our group. There were ample towels in both baths. The second bath, shared by the two other bedrooms was a bit small and had a pedastal sink and a tub. The house was nicely stocked throughout with hand soap in the baths, extra toilet paper, extra trash bags etc. A great stay and good value.

Family Trip

We came in town with my family and mom to visity Wildseed Farms, Das Peach Haus and Main street. It was awesome! Not to mention the beds were VERY comfortable and we really enjoyed the variety of birds in the back yard. We will be back for sure!
