This inviting vacation rental offers two spacious upstairs suites, each designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. The Space: The West Suite features a plush king bed and a cozy daybed, ideal for a small family or a girlfriends’ getaway. Its private ensuite bathroom includes a two-person Jacuzzi tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of Hill Country adventures. The East Suite offers a serene retreat with a king bed and a private bathroom featuring both a Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower—providing options for ultimate relaxation. Guests also enjoy access to the home’s downstairs parlor and living room offering elegant shared spaces for lounging or sipping wine after a day out. Take in the sights and sounds of town from the covered front porch, complete with classic rocking chairs, and enjoy the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere of this unique in-town retreat. Please note: The friendly owners live onsite in the back part of the home and are happy to offer local tips while respecting your privacy throughout your stay. Guest Access: ✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). It was not just an older house but creepily old. It smelled of cat urine and damp, musty fabric. And if you think you’ll have any privacy whatsoever, think again. My daughter and I were there alone in the downstairs living room when a strange older man unlocks the door and comes walking through demanding to know who we were (he was the owner and lived onsite but clearly not thrilled with having renters). It was disturbing to say the least. I informed “Kemyie” (a rep with Cozi, the property manager) but they never bothered to get back with me. So, the rest of the weekend, we stayed locked in our bedrooms hoping the old man did not have the code to those doors at least. Also, if you think you’ll will be able to sleep in and enjoy a leisurely weekend, that’s not going to happen. The people living onsite were constantly in and out of the house, slamming doors, cooking, banging pots and pans and being so loud that relaxing was all but impossible. And we had to deal with the smell of what they were cooking for every single meal on top of the cat urine and mold smells.
