A charming gravel walkway leads up to the front door which opens into the warm and stylish cottage for rent in Fredericksburg, TX known as Backstreet Bungalow. This quaint, cozy getaway offers a wonderful farmhouse feel; conveniently located within the neighborhood life of Fredericksburg. Its vibrant cream and brown pastel interiors complement the rich, darker tones of the doors, floors, and antique wooden furniture. The master suite downstairs is luxurious, with an en-suite Hollywood style bathroom providing two separate sink areas, plus it has its own private reading/sitting nook. Guests can relax and read a good book, watch television in the master bedroom or the 55" TV in the living room, or wander outdoors to the private hot tub in the backyard. The back garden which also has a fire-pit, comfortable sitting area and a gas grill to barbecue, is surrounded by beautiful, established trees and shrubs which enhance the privacy and cozy atmosphere the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee with the neighborhood rooster crowing good morning! What a wonderful place to stay while enjoying all that Fredericksburg Tx has to offer. Fire pit to sit around and a hot to relax in after a day of wine tasting. Looking forward to returning.

Great Bungalow

Excellent place to stay . This place was so neat . They even had music on when we arrived . Comfortable and very clean . Inside of the house has a rustic decor/ look which is fantastic. Plenty of towels provided as well as other amenities. We loved the backyard . Fire pit and hot tub , what more could you want . Communication was great with absolute charm . We absolutely loved this bungalow and would definitely stay again as well as rent from absolute charm . Everything was great .

An Amazing Cozy Casita!

Couldn't have been any happier with the selection of Casita! The perfect day for a girls getaway weekend. Cannot wait to make this apart of our memories for years to come. Love this quaint charming property

This was a quit relaxing place that my wife and I enjoyed. We took advantage of the backyard and hot tub to relax. It was close to downtown and Enchanted Rock. The inside was quaint and just what we needed, and we even cooked dinner one night to take a break from eating out, everything was there to make an enjoyable dinner. The bed was comfortable and I rested well. People have commented about the rooster behind the property, but you cannot hear it in the bedroom while sleeping. We highly recommend you to stay here and we will be back again soon! Very clean with the amenities.

Daughters 21st b day trip

House was cute and clean. Biggest problem was the rooster at the house behind us. At 4:30-7a he hollers relentlessly. I get up at 5am M-F, I certainly do not want to get up at 5 on my vacation. So I would not recommend the house to anyone I know for that reason.

Nice place except for the roosters

Cute place with a lot of thought put into the details of making it look rustic. The bungalow was stocked with everything we could need. The location was not walkable to Main street but was a very short drive to most things. Comfortable beds! I would not recommend anyone to stay here however because of the roosters (yes more than one) behind the property. They started crowing at about 5am on Friday and Saturday morning and continued until about 9am. There were at least 3 of them. There is no sitting on the back porch to enjoy a morning coffee unless you enjoy the sound. Its quite loud. Inside the house, you can really hear it upstairs clearly. In the downstairs bedroom, its more muffled.

The house was lovely. Everything from the hot tub to the fire pit was perfect. There were 3 of us going and then one couldn’t make it. They refused to refund me the difference which always irks me. If I had called when we got there and said we had an extra person staying I know they would not have hesotated to charge me the extra fee. I also thought it was closer to the main drag but it was too far to walk but parking was easy to find so it was not an issue. I would definitely rent again only next time will just say two are coming.

Great Place Except for the Roosters

My mom and I stayed here for a girls trip and loved the house! It was clean and the check-in instructions were easy to follow. The only negative is the neighbors roosters. I was sleeping in the loft and was woken up at 4am because of them. However, when sleeping in the bedroom downstairs their noise is more muted. I would recommend sleeping in the bedroom and not the loft if you are wanting to sleep in past 4am. The house was about a 3 minute drive from downtown but it was not walkable. The backyard was clean and lovely and we sat outside to enjoy the nights! We enjoyed our stay but the rooster was not a fun neighbor.

We spent a couple of nights in Fredericksburg enjoying the Christmas lights and our favorite restaurants, along with some new wineries. The Backstreet Bungalow was every bit as charming as I had hoped. It was very clean. Decor was lovely. Kitchen has been recently renovated. Beds are comfortable. Loved having two separate sink areas. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard with our wine. While backing out of the long driveway was a tiny bit stressful for me, hubby had no problems navigating out. We will definitely stay here again!
