  • Relax and settle in to this newly renovated modern, ranch style home in the heart of Fredericksburg, TX. Your hosts, Emily and Craig, are an expat couple who have lived across the world for more that 10 years and who love to travel, but who fell in love with the charm of Fredericksburg after visiting and wanting to own slice of Texas. As homage to where they reside, Bab Al Shams translates to “Gateway to the Sun.” Appropriately named, this calming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat offers a beautifully appointed open concept living space and accommodates up to 6 guests, perfect for a weekend getaway with friends and family. Unwind in the cozy living room, prepare a delicious meal in the well stocked kitchen, or spend time relaxing in the back yard around the fire pit.

    LOCATION – 7 blocks North of Main Street
    HOSTS – Home to Yourselves
    SLEEPS – Up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms; 2 king bedrooms & 1 bedroom with twin bunkbeds
    BATH – 2 full en suite baths; one en suite bath with a walk-in shower & an en suite bath also accessible from the hallway with a tub/ shower & double vanity
    KITCHEN – Fully equipped kitchen with a Keurig coffeemaker
    BREAKFAST – No breakfast provided
    AMENITIES – Smart TV, WiFi, wine fridge, washer/dryer, sound machines, fenced backyard with a propane fire pit, outdoor seating & a propane grill

    1 dog is allowed but there is an additional pet fee of $38/dog/night (before tax). Please bring a crate for your dog and crate him or her in your absence from the house, do not allow the dog on furniture or beds, and pick up and properly dispose of its waste. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.

    - The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light.
    - Observe the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces.
    - Place all trash in designated containers.
