Nestled in the foothills on my way from Munich to Salzburg, it was a perfect stopover and taste of German alpine hospitality, albeit in Spring. Welcoming staff showed me to my room, as well as hotel amenities - sauna options, depending what floats your boat. Breakfast was plentiful. Recommend!

the sauna nice, the rooms need remodeling

it was ok. the restaurant was nice. The rooms old, the bathrooms simply not clean and moldy dripping shower. the moldy smell hidden with chemical febreeze. The sauna was actually nice and cleaner than the rest.

It was very hot outside and no air condition, so had problem with getting a good night sleep. Beside that, this place was wonderful with supertasty food, nice breakfast and amazing location! Very dog friendly, so happy to get a dog bed at the room and some snacks for the dog!

Superbe maison bavaroise. Chambre deluxe très raffinées et super spacieuses. Eau citronnée en chambre. Piscine très sympa et spa de folie, le Hammam vaut le détour. Petit-déjeuner très correct. Seul bémol, pas de restauration, les 2 restaurants sont fermés en même temps.

Room was gloomy - lighting wasn't best designed to optimise the lack of daylight due to a small window and a nearby tree. Restaurant was not available for most of the stay though when it was the food was very good. Excellent breakfast buffet

Es ist ein ganz tolles Hotel mit einem super guten Frühstück (außer der Kaffee,der ist 0-8-15), dessen Zutaten, Wurst, Käse, Brotsorten… feine Qualität haben. Wir hatten ein geräumiges Zimmer unterm Dach, sehr hübsch. Einziges Manko - und dafür kann das Hotel nix - ist das fortwährende Rauschen der Autobahn. Wir konnten dennoch gut schlafen.

Wie waren bereits das zweite Mal im Karner. Es war wieder sehr schön und wieder hat uns das „alte“ Haus mit seinem Stil begeistert, die Kombination aus alt und Neu ist einfach genial. Was uns dieses mal allerdings etwas gestört hat, ist jammern auf hohem Niveau, war die spärliche Auslage von Handtüchern im Saunabereich, sowie das extrem späte abräumen von dreckigem Geschirr vom Frühstückstisch damit neue Gäste Platz nehmen können. Ansonsten alles , einfach schön.
