Our home is located on Cowee Mountain in the Great Smoky Mountains, near the charming town of Franklin, NC. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 4 full baths, and 2 half baths, our cabin is the perfect getaway for up to 12 guests. Enjoy our expansive deck with a hot tub and breathtaking mountain views, perfect for seeing the natural fog that gives the Smokies their name. Come experience the area’s beauty and create unforgettable memories! The highlight of our home is the stunning natural scenery, best seen from our expansive deck which is in full view of the picturesque Great Smoky mountains. Relax and unwind in our hot tub while you take in the scenery and peace that comes with this quiet mountain abode. The home itself receives lots of natural light thanks to plentiful windows, many facing the mountains. The large kitchen is perfect for preparing family meals, complete with multiple seating areas. You’ll find the rustic furnishings throughout the house provide a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The downstairs common area also features a pool table for your enjoyment. Our cabin features four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The main floor has a master bedroom with a king bed, while upstairs you'll find two more bedrooms with a king and a queen. The lower level offers a king bedroom and a media room with a futon for two. Additionally, there is a bunk bed located in the loft, each with a twin bed. Two half bathrooms are available in the common areas. Guests enjoy access to the entire property except for two locked closets, which contain extra cleaning supplies and personal items of the owner. Beary cozy is located in a private, gated community, nestled in the quiet mountains. You'll find there's more than enough parking for eight vehicles at Beary Cozy. Our cabin is conveniently located just an hour drive from the Biltmore Mansion, 30 minutes from Cullowhee and Western Carolina University, and an hour from Asheville. Atlanta is about two hours away. If you're visiting during the winter months, Cataloochee Ski Resort is about an hour away. You’re also just minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Nantahala Gorge, and the Cherokee Indian Reservation, offering numerous opportunities for outdoor adventures. Hiking, camping, biking, fishing, and whitewater rafting are just a few of the activities available in the area. You can also enjoy scenic drives and visit numerous waterfalls, such as Cullasaja, Dry Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. If you're looking for local dining options, there are several fantastic restaurants within a 20-minute drive. Ms. Lois' Restaurant and Kountry Kitchen offer classic diner and breakfast fare, while 828 Cafe serves up American/Latin fusion cuisine. Lucio's offers delicious Italian food, and Haywood Smokehouse is the perfect spot for barbecue. For those craving Mexican food, El Charro is a great option. Since you’re immersed in nature, our home is surrounded by wildlife such as bears and raccoons, which may be attracted to garbage bags that may be casually left out. Please take the garbage to the dumpster, and not left outside, for your safety and convenience. The house had plenty of rooms for our large family. Every room has its own bathroom which was a plus getting ready for a wedding all at once. The beautiful Mountain View is amazing from inside the house or outside sitting in the hot tube. Last night watching the sunset in the hot tube with my children was such a forever memory gift. We had questions about things in the house and Jeanette came right over and was so nice and helpful to us. Thank you for sharing such an amazing house with my family. The pool table, ping pong table, and accessories were old and falling apart. Internet was spotty at best. If you plan to cook you will need to bring oil/spices and anything you use to cook outside of the pans. There were definitely things that could be improved but they did not impact the time spent there! Internet wasn't great, most of our group couldnt connect. The hot tub needed some attendance in the cleaning department and the cieling in the kitchen leaked when the shower in the room above was in use. The cabin could also use a "welcome binder". Something that includes check in information, check out information, quirks of the cabin and maybe things to do around town. Other then that the view was simply amazing and our group had a wonderful time! Lots of things to do within a 20-30 minute drive! ##### Caleb H. The house was great…lots of space and had everything you need and then some. The view was spectacular. We loved the neighborhood and the easy to navigate road up the mountain. Centrally located to all of the areas we wanted to visit. We will be back! We just finished our 2nd stay at this property which is just amazing. The views are what everyone calls “Million Dollar Views” overlooking the Smoky Mountains and both sunsets and sunrises are stunning from the deck and can also be seen from every room in the home. The 4 bedroom suites each with their own bathroom really make it very comfortable for everyone and and the 2 half baths are a nice plus making the house work well for a large group. And as during our last trip endless hot water for all which shows the high end details of this awesome high quality luxury home. As I said after our first visit we will indeed book again! Also, Jeanette the host is wonderful, pleasant and extremely attentive! Thank you Jeanette for another fantastic trip! ##### Del V. There is a lot of privacy. Jeannette was incredible. When we got there, there was a technical problem with the hot tub. She had been working on it all day and was on top of getting it fixed. We have been taking trips to the area for 18-years and have stayed in many places but without a doubt this home was the best accommodations we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. The 4 bedrooms with their own full bathrooms as well as 2 half baths were perfect for our group. The home was built with high quality features and won’t disappoint. Very well thought out home that also has multi-zone A/C, seemingly unlimited hot water (we never ran out) and million dollar views from the rear deck! This was also my first rental with VRBO and the host Jeanette is extremely nice, attentive with exceptional communication and made the entire trip an A+ experience.
