Good: The front person was very friend and nice. The breakfast (included) was wonderful! Location is right on the historic part of the city and close to a train station. Very convenient location. Bad: The bathroom heat and hair drier were not working, and they couldn’t fix it during my stay.

Needs much of TLC.
Out of all our stays within German, this was our least liked. The rooms were dated, bathrooms small, carpets worn and general room appearance was very dated and in need of repair. Breakfast buffet was sub standard for all the other properties we stayed at. One of the comforters was dirty and didn't have the duvet cover on it. There was no car access to the hotel. Parking was all street or parking lot. The only benefit was closeness to shopping district. Very large shopping area 5 min. walk away.

Good location, beware of random charges
The hotel was in an excellent location, and the staff was terrific in helping me contact the airline regarding my lost luggage. It’s an old facility, but well-maintained. Breakfast was adequate (I’ve had much better), the room was clean and spacious enough for me. The only problem I had was when I checked out they insisted I pay for the two beers I bought from the front desk. The problem with that is I never bought two beers. Rather than argue with them all day, I paid for them; it wasn’t much. I asked the clerk if I could walk in and buy a beer and put it on some random room. She said no, that I would have to give a room number and my name. That’s odd, cuz someone sure put two beers on my room; I don’t know how anyone there could know my name. It irritated me. Other than that, I’d stay there again.

The location makes this worth the stay
After having read the positive reviews when I first saw my room I thought there was no way those reviews were real. My room was reminiscent of a dorm I had in the 80s that was a few decades outdated at that time. But you could not find a better location in the city! Step out the door and you have old Frankfurt to your right and new to your left. The breakfast was nice and the staff helpful. There was coffee and cake in the lobby in the afternoons. I felt safe in the hotel and in this part of town.

Too Noisy for Summer Stay
Because the hotel is very close to Berliner street, and is also located on a major walkway, the noise is considerably loud. In warm weather, the room's window must be open during the day and evening. As I was out of the room during the day, the street noise was not an issue. However at night, every late night rowdy "passer bye" could be heard. This activity continued through out the night, and into the morning.

We were met at check-in with such a lovely, helpful man who went out of his way to carry our suitcase because the elevator was broken. He also took the time to look up if the post office was open and showed us how to get there on a map. The room was clean, comfy, and spacious. Wide variety for breakfast in the morning! The two double beds put together to make a full bed were on wheels, so it was hard to cuddle together without pushing the beds apart!! It was also a bit stuffy with the windows closed, but a bit noisy with them open (our room overlooked the front, where drunken shouts were heard all night and construction started very early!) But these are minor issues for us. The most concerning thing was the incredibly rude and sour man working behind the desk in the morning. Complete opposite of the man who welcomed us! We heard this man speak curtly and impatiently with several customers as we sat for our breakfast. He should take notes from his kinder, older colleague!

A great hotel on a walking street near a lot of great shopping. It's just a block from the historic Old City. Hotel staff made a great recommendation for dinner!

Hotel staff are amazingly friendly. Just outside the hotel is shopping and numerous churches. Perfect location! Room was small, but clean, comfortable, and quiet. I would definitely recommend and return again.

Great economic option close to Old Frankfort
Staff was very accommodating of our larger group and set us up with a larger room across the street. Great accommodations for the price and definitely would be back again. Very close and convenient to Old Frankfurt area and plenty to do a short walk away.

Chose this hotel based on location and previous comments and was not disappointed. If you want to stay in the middle of the shopping and historic district this is a great choice. Hotel is very unassuming from the outside so you would not really notice it if you didn't know it was there. No issues at all with any part of the stay. we arrived at 730am and they let us check in!! I understand there is no air conditioning but that is not an issue in December. I can see where maybe rooms that face the street could be a bit noisy so request a room toward the back of the hotel.

Convenient and comfortable Hotel
Very convenient location to rail network, only a couple of stops from central station or 900m walk. Hotel is close to main square, town hall, river and is within the shopping precinct, restaurants and tourist atractions. Hotel Staff are very friendly and attentive, room clean and comfortable. Has jug and tea and coffee facilities in room. We were there during an extremely hot 3 days of 35degrees. No airconditioning in room only fan. Overall a comfortable stay.

Two nights in Frankfort
The desk clerks are there 24/7 , which was a plus since we had transportation problems that day. Everyone spoke enough English to help us and the breakfast was outstanding. This hotel is located in the shopping district and within walking distance to the river and river walk.It was very quiet on the back side of the hotel with a great night time view of the city buildings. The beds were wonderful, however, the shower was so small you couldn't bend over without crashing into the shower door. And the elevator only holds two people and two small bags. Be prepared to make several trips if your party is larger. Overall, I would stay there again.

TIny room, no A/C and no frills
The room had no A/C. The safe key was missing and they couldn't provide a safe for our belongings. There was no dresser or a place to put belongings. The room was so small that we were literally falling over the suitcases just to move around the room. Elevator for 1 person and one bag, very old and rickety. We used stairs except to bring bags up and down upon arrival and departure. Breakfast was fine. Location was good.

Triple room is an appartment which is very old
First it's not easy to take your bags all the way to the appartment second the room was dirty and old the interior design was horrible the size of the appartment is large however we prefer a clean room in the same building , the wi fi was broken , and I've read one of the comments that it was off 4 days prior to my 2 night stay , no wi fi for these nights

We got the junior suite as an upgrade which was huge, but it smelled of cigarettes, so we asked to be moved the next morning. The new room was better, but not great. The location is what makes this hotel worth staying at.

A pleasant surprise in downtown Frankfurt.
We are initially uncertain because the reception desk was located on the 2nd floor of the building. No hotel parking was available but the airport shuttle driver was exceptional. The breakfast was very adequate. We would consider staying again because of the location to old town Frankfurt. Cost was very good value. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Internet service was provided upon request and available in the reception area.

Perfect for Christmas Markets
The hotel is on a pedestrian street, and there was a Christmas market right in front of the hotel. I will say that made it a bit difficult to get to the hotel while dragging luggage (we took public transport from the airport). When the man at reception (who wasn't overly helpful or friendly) told us we were upgraded and staying across the street in one of the apartments, I groaned at having to take heavy luggage back downstairs and cross completely packed pedestrian street / Christmas Market. Once there, though, our apartment was very spacious (much more than we actually needed for just 1 night) and clean. Breakfast was good, and overall, this was a good value.

We have often stayed in this hotel over many years. Despite having booked months in advance we were disappointed this time to be allocated an internal room without any outlook. However, the hotel was able to move us to a better room thankfully. This hotel has not changed over the last years, but remains a good modest hotel with clean rooms and a most convenient situation for the main Frankfurt shopping area.

Terrible hotel for the family.
My booking condition included wifi wireless internet in the room. That is my first condition whenever I book a hotel. But, when I checked in I was noticed that no wifi is available. I claimed it to the receptionist summiting my booking document which has wifi wireless internet condition. His reply was exactly like that "no wifi available, no way, I cannot help you". That was all. There was no more explanation. I could not continue to claim, because my family, wife and a daughter, felt some scary from his talking and attitude. Instead of claim to the hotel, I claimed it to Expedia. When I checked out, I could not hear 'bye' or 'good bye' from receptionist (I am not sure the receptionist was the same person I met during checking in). It was the most terrible experience I have ever had at the hotels.

Don't do it!
I stayed in this hotel while visiting an exhibition in Frankfurt and paid considerably over the odds for a hotel of this standard. If I had been charged about 70% less then perhaps I could recommend this establishment as that is about what it is worth. If your budget is circa €40 - 50 per night then fine. If it's higher then just don't! Its one redeeming feature is its location (close to good city centre shopping) which you'll be glad of because as soon as you enter your room you want to leave again!

The location of this hotel is superb in that you can walk to everything easliy. The downside was the endless noise all night from the bus picking people up to the drunks hanging out after the bars close. Cleanliness of the room was marginal at best. Some of the staff was great and others on the staff were stiff and not very welcoming. Overall - a solid 3 on a scale of 1 to 5.

Interesting location.
We had a hard time finding the hotel because the street name is really a walking plaza, there is no street in front of the hotel. After driving around multiple times we finally parked and walked around - even then itmwas hard to find. Was surprised when the room was an apartment across from the hotel. Was easy to get to and very clean but there was no air conditioning so we left the windows open but were woke up at 7am to the garbage being emptied nearby.

We stayed only one night in the hotel but found it to be comfortable and clean. Our 3 teenage children stayed in an apartment across the street which is part of the hotel which we stayed in the main building. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast had a good selection including scrambled eggs. There was no WIFI in the apartment but in the main building it worked fine. Parking is a bit of a problem as the hotel is situated in a pedestrian walk way. We parked in a public parking garage nearby. There is an amazing food market a couple of blocks away which is really worth a visit. Service is good and pleasant.

Perfect Location in Pedestrian Zone
You can walk to the cathedral and many other sights. Good price. Rooms are nothing special but work just fine. Parking is super close and not terribly expensive. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel Neue Kraeme has a super location if you are looking for an excellent, diverse shopping experience, everything in walking distance.. If your interest is cultural, you can walk to the main historic sites, including major museums on the other side of the Main river and nearby. The hotel is located in a so called 'Fussgaengerzone" (pedestrians only) therefore is very quiete.The staff is especially friendly and helpful in finding the desired locations or information you need.

Posizione da 10, idem cortesia dello staff della reception e la possibilità di poter sempre avere a disposizione the e caffè caldo. (Reception h24) La camera invece, piuttosto piccola, presenta diversi problemi di manutenzione soprattutto in bagno da lampade rotte a lavabi liniati. Mancano dei dettagli quali dei vanity set e anche il frigo in camera.
