Our 4-season holiday home is located in the Feriendorf Frankenau next to the national park Kellerwald-Edersee near the town Frankenau. Directly from the house and in the immediate vicinity there are numerous possibilities throughout the year for hiking, skiing, mountain biking and Nordic walking in beautiful nature. Horse riding is also possible. With Willingen and Winterberg at 40 min drive also ideal for winter sports. The house can accommodate 10 people and has a new and modern interior. The kitchen is fully equipped and fully equipped. In the sitting area is a TV with channels in HD quality with a DVD player and a cozy wood stove. There are 6 modern chairs around the large dining table. A high chair and camp bed are available. Die Lage des Hauses und dessen Umgebung ist super. Es gibt viele Freizeitaktivitäten in der Nähe. Einkaufen in kleinen lokalen Geschäften guter Qualität ist auch möglich. Das Haus an sich hat einige technische Probleme. Die Heizung funktioniert nur auf Vollgas. Das Thermostat zeigt nur zwischen 25 und 27,2 Grad an so das die Heizung nur manuell ab 29 anspringt. Der Lüfter im Bad hat einen Lagerschaden und weckt nachts das halbe Haus. Die Sitz Bänke draußen sind morsch wir haben das Holz von dem " Müllhaufen" unterbauen müssen und mit 4 Mann drauf sitzen zu können. Das Wespennest oben über der Tür war sehr gefährlich weil wir einen extremen Allergiker dabei hatten. Die Tiere dringen in die Wohnung ein was nicht so schön ist. Der Hausmeister hielt es nicht für nötig zu handeln.. Wenn wir gewusst hätten das wir die Betten selbst beziehen mussten hatten wir uns Bettwäsche selbst mitgebracht. Wir wollten uns im Urlaub diese Arbeit ersparen und habe extra nachgebucht. Der Heizlüfter in Bad war ebenfalls defekt und laut Hausmeister, der auch da nicht geholfen hat, war es den Vermieter bekannt. Ältere und jüngere Menschen duschen halt nicht gerne bei 12 Grad. Wir werden nicht mehr dort buchen. ##### Oliver G. Silberne Zahlen auf einem silbernen Drehrad, weder im Hellen noch im Dunklen mit Taschenlampe lesbar. Bei der Ausstattung der Wohnung ist noch Luft nach oben (Geschirr usw). Der Fernseher ist nicht zu bedienen es ist nicht möglich ein Programm einzustellen. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung die Wohnung war sauber und vor allem sehr ruhig. ##### Joachim S. Geburtstag meiner Frau waren unsere 2 Söhne mit ihren Familien eingeladen. Wir trafen uns im Feriendorf Frankenau. Es war Oktober, aber wir hatten gutes Wetter. Spazieren gehen mit unseren kleinen Enkeln war an der Tagesordnung und diese Möglichkeit war ausreichend vorhanden. Edersee und Wildgehege waren nicht weit enfernt und wurden mit dem Auto angefahren. Ein undichter Duschschlauch wurde bei Meldung sofort ausgetauscht. Die Beheizung der Räume war elektrisch und völlig ausreichend. Es war eine schöne Art sich mit der Familie zu treffen. Op het park zelf zijn geen voorzieningen maar Frankenau is op 5 min afstand, een grotere plaats Frankenberg is ook goed bereikbaar. Prachtige omgeving, veel om te bekijken. Stuwdam en wildpark hebben we ook gedaan. In de woning is ook veel informatie over wat te doen in de omgeving. Die Sauberkeit lässt auch zu wünschen übrig. Dann hatten wir in der unteren Wohnung kein warmes Wasser. Der Hausmeister war der Meinung wir hätten den Durchlauferhitzer falsch eingestellt. Er wollte trotzdem vorbei kommen, was auch nicht passiert ist. Dann wurde uns gesagt wir könnten ja auch oben duschen. Laut Hausmeister hat er uns nicht angetroffen. Die Böden waren schmutzig und voller Krümel. Im Abstellraum der EG-Wohnung stand ein geöffneter und völlig verdreckter Staubsauger, der so nicht nutzbar war. In der EG-Wohnung haben wir außerdem ein paar Schäden vorgefunden, u.a. waren die beiden großen Holzbänke vor der Terrassentür nicht nutzbar, da die Sitzflächen durchgebrochen sind. ##### Philipp G. Das Haus hat zwei ziemlich identisch eingerichtete Stockwerke und wir durften das Mobiliar zusammentragen. Alles war sehr angenehm ordentlich. Das Haus ist hell, die Gegend ruhig, an Wald und Wiese gelegen. Check-in und -out war unkompliziert: Schlüssel befinden sich in Zahlencode-geschützten Schlüsselboxen. Reinigungsmaterial ist auch ausreichend vorhanden. Außerdem gibt es eine Spül- und eine Waschmaschine, sowie jeweils zwei Filter- und Pad-Kaffeemaschinen. Der Eigentümer, Chris, spricht und schreibt gutes Deutsch und ist sehr nett. Wir hatten für die Feier 20 Leute da und alle hatten eine tolle Zeit. Wir würden das Objekte für einen Urlaub in der Gegend empfehlen, man kann sich aufgrund der Ausstattung auch gerne länger dort aufhalten. (Tatsächlich haben wir auch überlegt, dass das Objekt für Rentner auch permanent geeignet sein könnte.) Wir hatten jedenfalls einen tollen Aufenthalt, eine tolle Feier, und eine unvergessliche Erfahrung. Danke Chris, dass du es uns möglich gemacht hast! ##### Gary F. Netjes verzorgd. Op een paar kleine dingen na.Natuur is prachtig. Op het park is eigenlijk niets te doen of te verkrijgen. Een auto is een must. Het aanbevolen restaurant in 't dorp is zeker aan te raden.In de omgeving zijn er genoeg dingen te bezichtigen of doen. Zou er zeker nog wel eens terug gaan. ##### Albert M. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Bernd H. 23 Aug 2019 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Feriendorf Frankenau Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit dort, leider ist das Schwimmbad, die Minigolfanlage, die Grillhütte, das Volleyballfeld, etc. und das Restaurant aktuell geschlossen bzw. verwaist. Im Internet haben wir dann herausgefunden das seit März/April kein Pächter für das Restaurant und die anderen dinge mehr da ist und es deshalb geschlossen ist. Trotz allem kann man in der Region ja zum Glück viel erleben und machen! Die Wohnung war in einen guten Zustand und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Grill ist für 7 Personen etwas klein gewesen aber auch das ist machbar. ##### Bernd H.
