"The room was very cold, and despite raising this with staff, I was initially told that the heating was functioning correctly. After complaining again, the heating was eventually turned on, which was appreciated; however, the unit was extremely loud and could not be used throughout the evening. The walls are also very thin, and noise from neighbouring rooms is easily heard. The room did not include any tea or coffee facilities, which I would consider a basic expectation for a four-star hotel. I also requested an iron but was informed that one was not available and that I would need to pay €5 for a shirt to be ironed instead. On a positive note, the breakfast was of good quality and the staff were very friendly. However, I would choose to stay at a different hotel on my next visit."

"Great property with lots to offer! Of course its an old house, and there is lots of bugs in Tuscany so when you book it know this, its such a great space!! The kids enjoyed the yard, the adults enjoyed the view and the owner and his helper were extremely responsive and helped us very quickly with any questions."

"We were looking for a quiet and tranquil location and this is it. Wonderful views from the magnificant gardens which surround the tastefully restored monastery. The exterior and interior have been tastefully renovated to the highest standard and our room was perfect. Yet the main contribution to our stay was the warmth and oustanding service that we received from the whole service team. We loved this hotel; we have travelled all around Europe and feel this is the best we have stayed in."

"Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser süßen kleinen Finca in der Toskana. Wir waren zwei Paare mit Hund unterwegs – das eingezäunte Grundstück war dafür perfekt. Die Lage ist sehr abgeschieden, mitten im Nirgendwo, und man fährt etwa 25 Minuten über Serpentinen nach Cortona beziehungsweise zum nächstgelegenen Supermarkt. Allerdings hat man dafür absolute Ruhe, Idylle und Natur pur. Die Gastgeber sind super herzlich und aufmerksam. Das Haus sowie die Küche sind sehr gut ausgestattet – uns hat es wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Der Pool war kalt, aber dafür traumhaft gelegen und die Aussicht mit dem infinity Pool ein Highlight. Alles in allem: Entspannung pur und ein idealer Ort, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Sehr empfehlenswert!"

The olive grove, pizza oven, and pool provided charming activities and the group dining room brought guests together. The setting created the most magical atmosphere for our wedding celebration—romantic, authentic, and unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfect. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to host such a special occasion. Chiara is the perfect host and doubled as our coordinator. She is so skilled in what she does, and coordinated great vendors with timeliness and organization. "Very friendly and accommodating hosts. The meal they cook was excellent. The location was beautiful and the pool area was kept immaculate. It was a characterful and spacious property but some of the furnishings were a little tired and wobbly. The spa bath did not work and neither did the plug in the bath. The plug in the kitchen sink also did not work and some of the cabinets were in need of repair. Overall it was a beautiful place to holiday and I would have no reservations about recommending it to others."

"Great wifi, delicious dinner, Luca and the breakfast lady in the morning were great. Staff were generally really lovely but quite busy. The room was large with a king size bed. Shower was strange with half glass half curtain but served its purpose. With a kettle in the room we could make a tea which was also great."
