"Overall the Mariner is an excellent B&B. It is a converted upmarket home with an elevated, panoramic view of False Bay. It is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The furnishings are comfortable and tasteful. The outstanding breakfasts have a wide variety on offer and cater for all dietary restrictions. The property is within a several minute walk to the famous penguin colony and several picturesque beaches. It is about 10 minutes walk to historical Simonstown and it's numerous restaurants and quirky shops. Special mention must be made of Mandy, the lovely manager of the property, she is exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgable on local matters. If you are staying in the southern Cape Peninsula, this is the place to be!"
