It did not disappoint! The home itself has a wonderful history which was captured by the host in a beautiful presentation booklet in the living room. The updates did not distract from the original architecture which was still observable in many spaces. The home was our base of operations for our stay with two of our Williamsburg teenage grandchildren. It was convenient to the Bethpage Campground which housed a mini-golf course and delicious ice cream shoppe. We also attended a special race day at nearby Colonial Downs race track which featured not only race horses but also exotic animal racing of zebras, ostrich's and camels. Fun afternoon and evening for all!Each night the trip home was special as we observed many herds of deer in the pastures and just the non-rushed solemnity of the area.The home's kitchen was well-appointed and we ate many of our meals right there. Modern and up-to-date. We also made good use of the spacious tables for many board game competitions into the late hours.Stacy was a great host and answered our questions and made recommendations for things to do in the area. She made it a great experience!"
