Cozy Lakefront Cottage on Eagle Mountain Lake

  • The lake level is back up! Looking for a peaceful getaway? Enjoy views of Eagle Mountain Lake from the front porch of this lovely private cottage. The cottage is perfect for a romantic weekend getaway, or for up to 6 people to get away! Located just minutes from A&M Garden's event venue. Bring your water toys, boat or jet skis and use the private boat ramp on the property, or bring your fishing gear and fish off of the dock! The main bedroom is private and has a full sized bed. The secondary bedroom, also serves as the living area during the day and has a queen size murphy bed for sleeping at night. There is a second queen size murphy bed in the dining area for extra guests. Enjoy large windows looking out over the lake from the living area.
    There is a full kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals, seating at the bar as well as a dining room table. Bring your hamburger fixings and grill outside on the propane grill. For chilly nights, enjoy the inside fireplace or hang out on the huge patio and stay warm by the outside fire table. There is fiber optic internet and TV with streaming channels
    There is a Ring monitoring system located only on the outside of the cottage.

A little slice of Heaven

Moving between homes is very stressful and staying at the eagle mountain home was a much needed reprieve from all the stress of our move. Having coffee on the patio and enjoying the gorgeous view was so relaxing!

Lake access was very nice. House was small but we didn't spend much time inside. Only a 20-25 minute drive to the Stockyards. We drove around the lake and visited the different marinas. Owner was easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Very relaxing which is what we wanted. We hope to come back again with our boat next time.

This is the perfect getaway on Eagle Mountain Lake! Had a bass tournament here! It was perfect! Plenty of parking and great location! Owners communicate and answer all questions ASAP!!!

This was my second stay at this lake front cottage. The location is great. The house is comfortable. Check in is easy. The property manager is accessible for questions. We will definitely stay here again!

Cozy getaway

Incredibly cute and comfortable property. Stayed for a couple days before a surprise birthday party for my father in law. Michelle was wonderful to work with and was very accommodating. Will definitely stay again when we come back to the area.

Cute quiet house

Such a cute little home! Quiet neighborhood right on the lake. Fire pit and bbq grill outside … we used both! Murphy bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent Lakeside Hideaway

Good things come in small packages... make that great things! The house may be 800 sq feet, but it had everything you could want for a relaxing and fun time at the lake. There were two of us, but this place could sleep 6 with the murphy beds - which are extremely comfortable. And the kitchen was well equiped and surpriningly spacious for a small house.

Great start to the summer

The cabin is cozy and cute and makes good use of the space the direct access to the dock and on property boat launch was awesome and allowed us to use the boat all weekend with out having to drive back and forth to the boat launch.

awesome little lake house

we really enjoyed our stay there! We were there to visit family and it was a nice place to have them come over and hang out for a little bit! Michelle is very responsive on communication, and the house had everything we needed and more! loved the s’mores kit and the wine, and treats on the counter when we arrived! The house was spotless, and the kitchen was super organized which I love!!! we would definitely stay here again!

Relax and Enjoy

This was such a relaxing place. The beauty of the lake view while sitting on covered porch or out under the trees were what we needed. Then the use of space to accommodate our family was well thought out. We were all able to easily move around in a quaint cottage. It was well stocked and we had a hostess that made sure all our needs were met mid way of our stay. This is the place to relax and enjoy. Highly recommend this spot.

Lovely serene getaway

We booked this trip knowing it was cold and not going to be an outdoorsy trip. Staying in this lovely cottage was perfect. We had the beautiful waterfront views, cozy place to snuggle and enjoy a break from the real world. Michelle, the host, was incredible with contact and making sure all was well. We even had a little treat ready for us upon arrival. We can’t wait to come back during warmer weather to take advantage of the water access. 10/10 would recommend this stay any day!

Weekend birthday getaway

The property was exactly what we were looking for, for my husband’s annual lake birthday get a way. He was thrilled with the location (and grill) and said this is the one he would like to come back to. We could watch the night stars and sunrise from the porch or with the blinds open from the front room. The water was perfect swimming water (the best out of 3 places so far). Michelle was responsive and kind adding a little treat for the birthday man. We are a game loving family (of 2) and the huge connect 4 was a big hit. The house was organized with all the cooking utensils needed as well as beautiful. Would recommend 5 out of 5.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay for our anniversary very much. The house was cozy, clean, and well equipped. The fireplace was a nice touch. I love a real, wood burning fireplace. We spent almost an entire day sitting on the dock staring at the water; it was quite peaceful and relaxing! The check in process was super easy and instructions were accurate. My only complaint and the reason for the 4 star review is the no smoking ANYWHERE on property policy. Once in a while, I like to enjoy a nice cigar while sitting outside in a peaceful setting. I completely understand forbidding smoking inside the house, and even in close proximity to the house, but the rental policy forbids smoking ANYWHERE on the proprrty which includes outside, on the dock, away from land. That's ridiculous. Would have been a 5 star review had it not been for that. If that's not a big deal for you, then you will absolutely love this property. It's perfect for couples. Remember to bring a fishing pole if you like to fish!

Tight but great please to stay

The stay accommodations were great. For a change the mattresses were actually comfortable. Had to get creative with the head of the Murphy beds, but there were enough pillows to fill the gap so you didn't loose your pillow in the middle of the night. The please was great. The not so great, the boat ramp on the property if VERY tight for a larger than normal boat. Shouldn't be much of an issue for a smaller boat around 20 foot long and 8 feet wide. Watch the stump to one side of the drive way and the metal frame on the other if you are a taller boat. Our 30' tritoon with a sport arch was a VERY tight fit backing in from the road and into the boat ramp. Winds and waves can be strong when securing the boat to the dock. Ensure you have good fenders plenty of wake boats and people ignoring the no wake. Sunrises on the dock and back porch are gorgeous it may be early but well worth it. If we were to go to Eagle Mountain Lake, again we would not have an issue staying here again, but may use a public boat ramp to put the boat in and out of the water.
