The waves are gentle, and the gulf-floor slopes gently to an offshore sand bar which provides seven miles of protected beaches. Because of this, Fort Myers Beach is often called 'The World's Safest Beach'. Our children, and now our grandchildren, have spent countless hours sitting on the sandbar during low tide digging for sand dollars and starfish. Daily, we spot dolphins playing in the waters in front of our balcony. Our condo is fully renovated! We have a spacious, walk-in shower and a new kitchen. We added 7 feet of new California Closets in the bedroom, including a built-in dresser, and replaced the bathroom closet with a new California Closet. We replaced all the flooring with beautiful Italian porcelain tile and have new window treatments. In 2019 and 2020 we replaced all the furniture. The bedroom, which is separated from the living area by a folding partition, has a king-size bed with a luxury mattress (new in 2022). The living room has a sleep sofa (queen-bed size) with an upgraded gel memory foam mattress, 55” ultra-high-definition smart TV, and DVD/CD player. Our kitchen is well equipped and stocked. The spectacular view from our balcony faces the Gulf of Mexico and Sanibel Island, and because it faces west, it’s the perfect place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the sun set. Don't be fooled by other ads that say they have a Gulf view. Ours is a direct-facing view; no craning your neck around buildings to catch a glimpse of the Gulf - take a look at our photos to see our spectacular view. There’s an on-site heated swimming pool; four tennis courts, including 2 that can be used for pickle ball; and a shared, coin-op laundry room. There are several marinas in Fort Myers Beach, including one directly across from the Estero Beach and Tennis Club. There is a wide variety of restaurants and shops in Fort Myers Beach, which are easily accessible by public trolley, which runs the length of the seven-mile long island. The Estero Beach and Tennis Club is situated on ten lush acres along the Gulf of Mexico. The estuary in front of our balcony is listed in the top 200 bird-watching spots in the United States and is the only estuary in the US with a flock of Roseate Spoonbills arriving daily at dawn and dusk. We are conveniently located approximately 25 miles/35-40 minutes from Regional Southwest Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers. In addition to enjoying all that Fort Myers Beach has to offer, you are within 30-40 minutes of beautiful Naples and Sanibel/Captiva Islands. Carole was excellent with any communication that was needed and check-in was as simple as putting in a code to get in the condo. This is a perfect condo for a small family! We had everything we needed, including the amazing view. Due to ongoing construction on surrounding properties, we practically had the beach to ourselves most days. Description was spot on with the sandbar, it really was a great spot for our two daughters to safely play. The location in south FMB was fantastic for a quick trip to Bonita Springs or Naples. The communication with Carole was so easy and she got back to me rather quickly. The condo was still under construction but the workers were considerate and friendly. There is alot of work still happening in the neighborhood due to hurricane, but it did not affect our stay. We truly enjoyed our stay. Being repeat visitors to Estero Beach and Tennis Club we were saddened to see the destruction from Ian. This has been one of our favorite vacations! The condo was beautiful, we could the waves crashing like we were sleeping on the beach. The owners took approximately 5 min to get back to us with the 2 questions we had, they were super nice. The neighborhood has been damaged but they are working on it and it definitely didn’t ruin our trip. I am already planning on re-booking next year. The condo is nicely redone. We enjoyed our stay however we were not aware there was not central air. It had a unit like you would have in a hotel room. We could not use the partition for privacy in the bedroom because it would block any air flow from the unit air conditioner. Lucky the weather was cool.One day the elevator got stuck and the police needed to come to help people get free.We made the best of it and still had a good time getting away from the cold. ##### Lee L. It is clean and beautifully decorated. Loved the new closet space and ample number of hangers. Also appreciated the makeup vanity in the bedroom. It was so nice to have a place with a mirror to get ready to go out to dinner with. The view can't be beat! We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony looking at the Gulf drinking our morning coffee or occasional evening drink while watching the sunset. Walking down to the beach directly from the condo building is just ideal. Also appreciated the beach chairs in the condo for the guests use. We loved our meals at the local restaurants. Fort Myers is coming back from Ian, that's for sure! Carole, the host, was so easy to work with. Very thoughtful and easy to reach. Only one of the two elevators worked but we never had to wait for more than a minute. The beach was quiet and the water was gentle and refreshing. No strong currents, undertows, or rough waves. The best restaurants were short car rides away. The host was responsive within 15 min, if that. The condo is comfortable and cutely designed. The view from the balcony was the best part. The most amazing sunsets and dolphins swimming by every night, magical!! We were also here last year, nice to see Ft.
