The pool was basically our headquarters—daytime chill spot, nighttime aquatic dance floor, and one brave soul’s failed attempt at synchronized swimming.The location? Unreal. A quick stumble (I mean walk) to Las Olas, where the drinks were strong, the food was clutch, and the memories are mostly fuzzy. We were minutes from the beach too, which made it easy to pretend we were doing something wholesome between parties.The house was super clean, beds were comfy, and it had enough space for our squad to spread out, recover, and roast each other in style.If you’re looking for a quiet spiritual retreat, maybe look elsewhere. But if you want a place that can handle a legendary bachelor weekend, this is it.10/10—would bachelor party again (but maybe after a nap). ##### Christopher D. Everything you need is right there from the inside of the house to the outside. We were a family of 12 people staying there and the house was very comfortable providing enough room for all of us. Las Olas was a walk away to some great restaurants and shopping. The owner was a pleasure to talk to and very accommodating. The house is more spacious than it appears online and has a great layout so no one feels on top of one another. It is also decorated really cool. The beds and couches are all comfortable. The backyard is truly a peaceful oasis. Great table set up for meals, awesome lounging couches and chairs, and beautiful greenery all around! And the pool doesn't hurt either. It's an easy walk to a fantastic beach (about a mile) or a quick, cheap uber down the road. Bill was also an incredible help throughout the weekend. He was attentive to anything I asked him and made sure we felt right at home. Overall, Bill really catered to our large group and I was so appreciative. Bill is great! Thanks again for a great stay! This review was submitted before 2018 and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Craig G. 19 Mar 2015 #### Great Winter Escape Location A group of us came down for a guys only vacation to Fort Lauderdale looking to escape the cold and this house provided the perfect central location for all our activities. The house itself was perfect and it was nice that some of the rooms and bathrooms were on opposite sides of the house so it felt like everyone had a little extra privacy. Having a full kitchen and a washer/dryer made were added treats. The backyard area was great for hanging out and grilling, jumping in the pool, and just relaxing after a long day in the sun. It was a nice quiet neighborhood, tucked in away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but it was close enough that we were everywhere we wanted to be in less than 10 minutes. There was no need to rent a car as everything was a short uber ride away and we even found a cheap golf cart that drives people around town for a couple of dollars. We found a great fishing charter just down the road and getting downtown to the nightlife was easy. Bill was easy to work with and made sure that we had everything we needed to make our trip memorable. We will definitely look to rent from him again next time we are down. ##### Craig G. ### 6/10 Okay #### Paul T. 4 May 2018 #### Great Location / Home Needs Attention The location was very good and is close to main strip with many things to do. We enjoyed the close proximity for dining and entertainment. However, the house itself needs major attention both inside and out. It has/had potential, but has largely been let go (or recent renters have really banged it up). Be aware the pictures are very dated (e.g. the main picture shows a Jacuzzi which hasn't been there for years). The back yard, deck and all the outdoor furniture is in very rough shape. You should plan to wear sandals at all times given the condition of the deck (nail pops and dirty). We expressed our concerns to the owner and caretaker who, to their credit, did try to be responsive, but there was honestly too much work to complete with a quick trip to the house. You will definitely know you're in someones house given all the personal pictures everywhere and most all the closets are locked and noted as owner storage (we just lived out of our suitcases while there). Overall we did enjoy our stay, but we learned a lot more about what questions to ask prior to renting a property. If you're looking for a place to crash for a large party of people this may fit the void, but if your a family or couple of families looking to leverage both location and the outdoor features of the house I would not recommend this property for the cost. ##### Paul T. The +'s: Plenty of beds / showers to accommodate 10 ladies, bars / restaurants in walking distance, and any uber ride to the surrounding areas were under $10\.
