LOB is a popular thoroughfare in downtown Fort Lauderdale that runs from Andrews Avenue in the Central Business District to A1A and Fort Lauderdale Beach. The boulevard is a popular attraction for locals and visitors, being ideally situated close to Fort Lauderdale beach, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades. It is considered to be South Florida's most architecturally unique, authentic, and eclectic shopping and dining district. The entire house plus backyard is included in this rental. When you enter the apartment you'll immediately notice that you are not in your average cookie-cutter apartment. Designed by Donald Singer, who had come to Fort Lauderdale in 1964 and built this four-unit Colee Hammock apartment building that is still regarded as one of the architectural highlights of the city. Its sleek modern lines and unique placement of a single oak tree in an enclosed courtyard for each unit is a marvel to behold. In the kitchen, there is a small table for eating or drinking. The kitchen is equipped with the basics so you can enjoy a nice meal. The living room has a sofa bed that can be used as an extra bed if needed. The bathroom has laundered towels, hand towels and face cloths, soap, and shampoo. Note: the property does not have a washer and dryer and no dishwasher. There is central air, note: the A/C is set at between 72-75. Local attractions: the BEACH!, Las Olas Blvd, Intercoastal Waterway, Riverfront, The Broward Center of the Performing Arts, The Science and Discovery Center, Water Taxi, BB&T Center (for ice hockey and music lovers) Guest access The entire house plus the backyard is included in this rental. Please make yourself at home. Note: Backyard is a shared space. Other things to note Please please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the property with respect. If any problem arises, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site and we do not provide service between 9 pm - 8 am. Also, Parking is limited to one car. Photos are accurate. Lower rating because screen doors don’t close due to a design/install failure. Makes studio less desirable as bugs etc get inside.
