This beautiful features the following: \*Best outdoor space \*Pool (not heated) \*Outdoor kitchen \*Bar, BYOA \*Office/workstation \*Free WiFi \*Washer/Dryer \*2 miles to Fort Lauderdale Beach \*5 miles to Fort Lauderdale Airport \*Coffee station \*BBQ \*Less than 800 meters to restaurants, bar Our interaction is heavily dependent on the guest(s). We are very proactive hosts but give the guest(s) the option on how interactive they want to be with us. Please keep in mind that we don't respond to service calls between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am unless it's an emergency. The home is located within Downtown Oakland Park. The city is safe and it is 8.1 square miles and approximately 42,000 residents call Oakland Park home. The city boasts wonderful parks and recreation facilities, an independent library, and amenities of much larger communities. Once proud to be “a small town in a big city,” Oakland Park is now a “city on the move.” The entire house Important: Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted directly for booking validation, which includes ID verification and wavier or the deposit collection. The space Escape to your own oasis in this beautiful home! This space comes equipped to make your stay enjoyable. There is WiFi, office space for remote work. There is a living room with comfortable furniture and a 65” Smart TV. King bed (2 single massage beds together) with a large dresser in master suite. Full closet with shelves and hangers. Queen bed in the second bedroom, with full closet and shelves and a Smart TV. Family room has a sleeper couch (single size) and it's own smart tv. In the kitchen, there is plenty of counter space for eating or drinking with stools. Dining table for 4\. The bathroom has laundered towels, hand towels, and face cloths, soap, shampoo. The laundry room has a washer and dryer. The kitchen is stocked with the basics. There is a grocery store within a few miles where you can purchase anything else you need in the kitchen. There is a refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, tea kettle, dishwasher, cups, plates, silverware, cutting boards, etc. NOTE: The pack n play and high chair are available but you must notify us the day prior to check-in that you will need these items. The best part of this home is the beautiful outdoor space. A cabana house with built in BBQ grill, mini fridge, plenty of seating, outdoor shower, fire pit and lounge chairs. There is central air, note: the A/C is set at between 70-77. Local attractions: the BEACH!, some of the best restaurants within minutes, Las Olas Blvd, Intercoastal Waterway, Riverfront, The Broward Center of the Performing Arts, The Science and Discovery Center, Water Taxi, BB&T Center (for ice hockey and music lovers) Other things to note Please note that our pool is serviced twice a week. As you can see by the photos, we have lots of trees and vegetation so during windy days there will be leaves in the pool. Receiving mail or packages is prohibited and we are not responsible for items that are mailed or shipped to the property. \*\* We are pet friendly and there's an extra cleaning fee of $50 per pet. \*\*Max occupancy at all times is 5\. No visitors allowed, all guests must be registered. \*\*Minimum Main Guest Age: 24 \*\*Some regular maintenance services are required to keep our homes in excellent shape. Be informed that we have regular landscaping service, pool service and pest control management that may come during your stay. We use an integrated software that will give you access to our Guest Portal at PMI Premium Services. It will send you messages with instructions and guiding through a screening process and contract which are required to release check in instructions. The home is walking distance to public transportation, uber is plentiful, and it has a City run bike and scooter rental program. Same day bookings will require at least 4 hours to process your reservation. Please note that our pool is serviced twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays. As you can see by the photos, we have lots of trees and vegetation so during windy days there will be leaves in the pool. Important: Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted directly for booking validation, which includes ID verification and security deposit. In order to ensure a worry-free stay, we require a $500 refundable deposit. The property is clean and well-tended. Certain electronics did not work, but didn't detract from the overall experience this time. Should we return, I would expect the cabana to be better maintained for grilling and playing music on the pool deck. It is ideally situated near Wilton Manors and was a cheap Uber ride to venues where we knew we would be drinking. It was a safe neighborhood and the property is pet friendly which was the top selling point for this trip. Communication with the Property Management (PMI Premium Services LLC) is lacking - make sure you get everything in writing including receipts. There's plenty of computer generated emails: payment requests and background checks; but talking to a human and getting deposits returned in a timely manner and accompanying receipts is difficult and gives the impression of a scrupulous company - be warned. Overall, it was a great property that sleeps up to 5 people comfortably with just about every amenity necessary for travelers. 7/10 in my book! ##### Daniel R. Stayed 2 nights in Dec 2022 ### 4/10 Poor #### Rosemary C. 14 Nov 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, communication Disliked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy #### Not as advertised Oakland Park is an up and coming area and has a lot to offer, but the location of this home was suspect. We could not enjoy outdoor space as there was a significant amount of marijuana smell coming from the neighbors as early as 10 am. There was a police chase down the street one night. The pictures on line were inaccurate as there was no outdoor TV and the grill is rusting. The pool was dirty and the skimmer to clean the pool had no net. It wasn’t cleaned by the pool service until 36 hours into our stay. When we arrived the AC was not working. We spent the first 18 hours in South Florida with no AC. It was hot and no one slept well. It turned out the unit had to be rewired to get power and the Nest thermostat had to be recharged and no power cord was available. The ceiling fan in one bedroom did not work and the one in the kitchen had a short in it. The ice maker didn’t work. One shower had a bad door seal and put water all over the floor when used. The property manager was responsive but as of yet has not offered any compensation for all of these major inconveniences making half of our stay there very uncomfortable. The maintenance man was able to fix the AC, but nothing else. Once the AC was fixed it either was being set remotely or had preset temperature changes such that it would raise the temperature at night making it uncomfortable to sleep. Also the roof must have many leaks as most rooms had evidence of water damage. ##### Rosemary C. Stayed 3 nights in Nov 2022 ---
