Named one of the best beach footbridges in the United States by Travel + Leisure Magazine, the "Boardwalk" paved with bricks, as the locals affectionately call it, has two and a half miles of bars, restaurants, boutiques, and shops. With a small-town feel, Hollywood Beach is full of bars and restaurants that cannot be found anywhere else. For a truly local experience, you can't go wrong with The Le Tub Saloon, GG's Waterfront Grill, El Tayta and Taverna Opa. Getting Around: \- From Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL): There are 7.72 miles between FLL and Hollywood Beach. \- From Miami International Airport (MIA): Hollywood Beach is 23.8 miles away from MIA. In both cases, you can either take a cab or a Uber/Lift service at the Airport. Other Things to Note: ●Registration fee: $50 (one time only). ●Parking is not included in the listing. No car needed but if you need a parking space: You can either park your car at the condo for $42 a day or you can issue a public parking pass for the whole month for only $110 plus taxes. We had 3 adult females who were on a "mom's only trip". We all commented how it would be great to bring our families back with us. This property has the most ideal location in regards to everything you could possibly need in a beach trip! It is a VERY short walk to the beach (1 city block) so if you have small children who are too tired to stay at the beach all day parents can easily walk back and forth to the beach. The pool (and view from the pool) is incredible with a very attentive wait staff. However, this would be our one and only complaint. There is a bar/restaurant right on the pool deck which is very easily accessible. It is also open to the public. So our only negative experience was that on one occasion we had left the "pool area" to grab a quick bite to eat and drink we were ignored. While others (clearly public not staying at resort) were being waited on we sat there waiting for someone to even acknowledge us. Once someone finally did they had asked if we had "checked in"...we had not however neither had MULTIPLE others that were sitting around us (resorts guests also). A very nice man (assuming owner/manager) told the wait staff that we were fine to sit and that they needed to wait on us. They did not. We had to flag someone down yet again. As far as things to do. Listen that boardwalk which is ON the beach has more bars and restaurants than any 3 people could possibly visit during a trip to this area and again ALL within a very short walking distance. ##### Kayli H. Clean room and spacious. Pool Friendly staff 24/7 Valet (if you opt in to pay separately) It's pricy, but I'd recommend it. Cons: Used pillows stuffed inside the bedroom closet. (These pillows have stains of all kinds. Would recommend bringing your own). No dust pan (there's a broom and mop located in the same location as the fridge.) You will bring sand in from the beach and having a broom is nice but no dustpan to scoop it in is a nightmare. TV don't connect to the guest internet. (No streaming of any kind is possible, tried the bedroom TV, but cannot get even a YouTube app to play). Beach chairs (it's on a first come first serve basis, you must get them early early) Infinity pool (not even remotely infinity or a pool) though the pool area is very convient and nice the thought of an infinity pool sounded great until it turns out to be a shin high sitting area where you can look over the edge and soak your feet. Overall it wasn't that bad with my stay. If you could do reach out to your host for early check-in and or late checkouts. Those may come in handy for sure. Thank you. ##### Donny O.
