Lovely apartments in hotel. Delightful wwimming pool on roof is a real bonus after sightseeing in hot Kochi! The staff were very friendly and helpful Shame the kitchen didn't have a kettle

This is a great place to stay in Fort Kochi. It's tucked away so it's very quiet during the night but easily walkable to all the main attractions. The host is amazing, he helped us with getting tickets for kathakali and other shows at the Kerala Kathakali Centre (which is around a minute walk from the accommodation) and with organising transportation. The area was being closed for the New year's eve celebrations and we were struggling to find a taxi or uber. He was very kind to contact his friends to help us find a taxi. Thank you for such an amazing hospitality and for a lovely stay! We'll definitely stay here again when back in Kochi!

The manager and staff of this establishment are a real credit to India. We stayed during the very difficult COVID crisis and the staff were superb in their support for me and my husband. If I could give them an award for excellence in customer service, I would - they so deserve it.

Great location about 1.5 hours by taxi from Cochin Airport. In a quiet street in the centre of Fort Cochin and easy walks to amenities. Very friendly reception staff but watch out for power cuts! Thoroughly recommend

Great location
Nice pool, good service, and great location. Sali, edward and sam helped us to plan our time while in kerala, and gave us good suggestions on where to go. Our driver Anil was very good. Breakfast was good and made to order, but limited selection so it got boring after 2 nights, and we stayed for 4. Pool is outside on the roof and is very nice.

Can’t go wrong here
Clean and quiet. Sala (I may be getting his name wrong), but the tall young man working there was incredibly friendly, helpful, and informative. Not motivated by tips, only motivated by your enjoyment of the visit. Breakfast had fresh Dosa’s, fresh fruit, eggs any style, toast, coffee etc. and is served in a peaceful setting on the roof. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable hotel to stay in
Great hotel for a few days in Fort Kochi. Even a swimming pool to cool off in. It is within a 10 minute walk of the centre. The staff are all very kind and helpful and the premises is immacutely kept. Air on a little noisy.

We arrived with 3 auto rickshaws and they was happy for us to park them out the front. Lovely hotel. Very clean, great rooms with en-suite bathroom and a small communal area too. Bonus is having AC in the room and roof top swimming pool. Breakfast is basic but is included which is also very nice. All the staff - very friendly, polite and helpful and speak very good English . Would stay here again. 5*!

Perfect
Immaculately clean hotel which was a really nice place to spend a night in Fort Kochi. The swimming pool on the roof was great, the breakfast was delicious, the beds were comfy and the wifi in the rooms worked well. The staff were also helpful with sight seeing tips and onward travel arrangements. Definitely recommend.

Outstanding! Nothing bad to say about Fort Abode. Situated in a side street, 5 min walk from the beach/shops & near the Basilica. Spotlessly clean - you could eat your dinner off the floor! The staff were lovely and friendly, from the cleaners and handyman, to the 2 guys who cooked breakfast and especially the front of house staff - Alby, Neeraj and Sam, service 2nd to none. They were helpful, polite and went that extra mile to make sure our stay was memorable. We were there for 10 days. Our room (and one other which was empty) led out into the lounge/kitchen dining area. The kitchen has a fridge and sink, but after reading previous review, we took a kettle too. However, tea and coffee are available from reception (as are water and soft drinks). There was also a balcony, we only went out on it once as it was very hot when we were there. Don't expect a great view (if you want that then stay in a big expensive hotel). Having said that, if you do want a view, go up on to the roof. Not only is the pool up there, but you get a great view across Cochin and it is very therapeutic watching the birds (Kites wee think) soaring above. Breakfast is served on the terrace amongst tropical plants. There is plenty to choose from. We only had toast/fruit or pancakes but there were eggs (scrambled, boiled omelette etc) Dosa and a variety of other Keralan Dishes. If you want traditional English breakfast, go somewhere else! I would certainly recommend this property.

A really lovely homestay. The staff really bent over backwards to be accommodating and helpful.. as two women travelling we felt really safe and really enjoyed the fort abode.. the breakfast was good! We arrived via cab from the airport (arranged by them, someone was waiting at the exit for us) quite late and they ordered us take out food as we were hungry.. also organised us a driver to our next hotel in Alleppey.. as well as booking our train for our last day! They really were so helpful! And the homestay is beautiful! A lovely pool and rooftop! Perfect location to walk around fort Cochin too! A generally fabulous stay! Thank you!

Fort Abode was great value, clean and friendly!
We stayed at Fort Abode in Fort Kochi, Kerala for 3 nights. Friendly, helpful staff and location is a short 10 min walk from centre of Fort Kochi. Safe area. The breakfast on the rooftop is excellent, the rooms and relaxing areas within the hotel are all clean, well lit and relaxing, and the shower was excellent. Really loved our stay and highly recommend it to people looking for great value.

Hotel staff the best we have seen, so polite and helpful. Chef cooks fresh food every morning to order, it tastes amazing! Lovely roof top pool, spacious, clean rooms, with use of fridge to share. Can't wait to go back, highly recommended!

A tucked away gem
Staff were mind blowing amazing here. Rooms were a delight with their spacious lounges to the side. There's a fridge to keep your drinks cool and they will supply a kettle if asked. Breakfast was simple,but tasty and enough variety to have different things each day. Area is interesting,dfferent places to eat and walk in a quiet safe area. Would definitely stay here again. The owner is very lucky to have such a wonderful team. I would stay here again.

Great stay
The service was excellent throughout and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Airport pickup was rearranged without an issue. Very clean and modern hotel. The room shared a communal lounge and kitchen but I never saw mine being used. Borrowed a small kettle and adaptor. Loved the rooftop pool. Particularly enjoyed the Keralan cookery class arranged at home with Gigi (5 dishes 700rps) and the day back water trip. Very easy to walk to the sea front. Would definitely return if I visit Cochin again.

Lovely home stay hotel.
Lovely home stay hotel. Great location. 15 minutes walk from the Chinese fishing nets and the beach. Lots of restaurants nearby. Extremely helpful staff. Loved the roof top pool. I will definitely stay there again if I return to Cochin.

The guys working the desk were just super. Went to a film that one wanted to see and I wound up telling them all the story; wish they had gone with me. Also proprietor was so sweet and drove me on his motorcycle to another hotel around the corner that I booked before finding them. Really so sweet!

We stayed here for 3 nights after arriving from Goa. The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from the main part of Fort Kochi. The management and staff are very nice. Great swimming pool on the top floor. The room is a good size.

We stayed for seven nights and had a fabulous time, all the staff were so helpful. Each morning the breakfast was wonderful with lots of fresh fruit and egg dishes. Would highly recommend.

Very Nice Hotel
I stayed 2 nights in the hotel. The hotel was very nice: very nice room and swimming pool. I would just say that it could be better regarding the breakfast: it was composed of coffee/tea, jus, toasts, fruits and omelet. Me and my friends visited Fort Cochin. The hotel is very close to the places to visit. Restaurants are also very close. From Fort Cochin, we went to Alleppey. There we started a visit in the backwaters, on an house boat. The hotel manager was very helpful for this: he booked the trip for us at the very last minute and arranged a cab to go there and to return. In the end, the hotel provided a very good service.

Great hotel!
Best hotel we stayed at in Kerala. If I ever return to Cochin I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again. The rooftop pool is a very nice touch.

Serviced apartments are great and this one was Awesome . They provided free breakfast and the rooftop pool was very relaxing with great views . The staff were friendly and helpful . Laundry costs were very reasonable . Overall a fantastic place that was real value for money ...

Spotless hotel with an amazing pool
This is an excellent hotel right in the heart of Fort Kochi. It's really clean - and I mean super clean - with spacious rooms and friendly staff. It was a great base for us. There's also a router in each room so wifi is top-notch. And then there's the pool - the small but stunning rooftop pool area is a brilliant oasis to retire to any time of day.

Good choice in Chochin
Good location on a quiet side street. Easy walking distance to most Chochin restaurants and attractions except Jew Street which is a short autorick trip away. The rooftop pool is small but quite enjoyable. The bedrooms are reasonably sized and there is a living room, kitchen and dining area too but it is not airconditioned and is shared in our case with another adjoining room. Would be nice for larger groups to book both rooms.

Loved our stay at Fort Abode - the staff were incredibly generous and friendly, and we were so close to all the New Years action while in a quiet street so we could sleep peacefully too. The pool was a welcome sight!!

Homestay with separate room-shared living space
We stayed 2 nights to see around Kochi. The room was very small but bed was quite comfortable and bathroom was well equipped. There was no tea or coffee making facilities but when we asked for a kettle and cups they provided them- we had our oun coffee. There was no safe but a lockable cupboard to use. In the common area shared by 2 rooms there was a kitchen with a fridge but nothing at all in cupboards. The pool was lovely and well maintained. Breakfast was basic but ok.

Schlechter Service, wir wollten nach 20 Uhr draußen sitzen und das Personal hat uns angelogen, dass sie angeblich keine Schlüssel haben, wir durften den Pool nicht nach 20 Uhr nutzen, Zimmer war voller Mücken und Ungeziefer, Bettteil vom Bett war abgenutzt und dreckig, Bad hat nach Urin gerochen, nach Beschwerde hat das Personal nicht mehr mit mir gesprochen (vllt weil ich eine Frau bin ?!) Alles in allem schlimme Erfahrung!

La situation geographique, Personnel tres professionnel, proprete et tranquilite des lieux, la piscine, loger dans un appartement donnant plus d'espace. La salle a manger se trouve sur la terrasse et pres de la piscine qui donne une allure exoctique. J'ai voyage 5 mois en Inde et je recommande fortement cet hotel.
