This house and property was large enough to accommodate our family of 8 adults, two infants and dogs. The wrap around porches were lovely to spend time on in the early morning and after dinner. The pool was an amazing bonus. Everything needed was supplied and Karen was readily available to answer any of our questions or supply anything we needed.
This house is unique. We had a great time. the beds were comfortable, and the porches and living spaces were generous. Someone looked after the pool daily, and help with anything was easily and readily available. The only dissapointment was there was no hot tub which had been advertized on the listing.
Needs some updating and some screen repairs. Beautiful grounds. Hosekeeper is a lovely woman. Homeowner is very kind. Porches were fabulous. Fire pit great. Pool was fun. Very close to lake Erie. Decor in home was all a cottage should be. Was furnished with every need you could think of. Just had to bring food and clothes. Everything else was provided. Some great restaurants in very close proximity to home. The little flea market on Saturday and Sunday was great.
Just a relaxing, overall pleasant and serene property - sits on an acre with 3 weeping willow trees, wrap a round veranda and a private pool! Spacious for all and an amazing location! Ken was responsive and the perfect host - the historic vibe was true to the pics and we'd recommend this property by Lake Erie and proximity to Niagara Falls, river and local flavors in a heart beat!
Our family and extended family loved this home. There’s so much room to accommodate everyone. The porch, the pool and the fire pit made this the perfect location for a family reunion. There are lovely beaches nearby and we were able to visit the Falls and Niagara on the Lake easily. From the first day everyone kept saying we should rent this home again. It has wonderful energy and the owners couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
This cottage is on the rustic end if you don’t mind that, but was not clean and in poor condition due to a half-finished renovation when we rented it. We weren’t informed until three days before our check-in date that the porch was under renovation and behind schedule. Upon arrival the key was not where it was supposed to be and we did not get a response for two hours. (It was dark and I was traveling with a young child.) There was construction dust and debris inside and outside and it seemed clear the house had not been cleaned in some time. We found several health and safety hazards including pests, peeling paint (not safe for my 2-year-old), exposed wires, nails and glass. I communicated the hazards and gave the owner several opportunities to respond and was ghosted once I brought the issues to his attention. Given the extensive issues, I feel the need to share this info for other renters. It is especially not suitable for children, elderly or anyone with allergies or mobility issues. The grounds are lovely with the fire pit and pool and the owner was polite while we were in contact, but the property should not be rented until a renovation and thorough cleaning are completed.
Wonderful property for family and friends. We were two families with young children, 4 to 7 yrs old and property was perfect. Location is great. Pool was great with the kids. Property manager was very nice and responsive. Property owner was very easy to reach and speak to. Definitely will consider renting again in the future.
This is our second visit to this property and once again it was everything we needed. Both the adults and teenagers enjoyed their stay. The house is spacious and the pool area is wonderful.
Lovely cottage with plenty of space for large family (3 kids and 2 adults). Gorgeous property that is beautifully maintained, including a plunge pool with plenty of loungeside seating. Owner communication was A+++ including prompt resolution by housekeeper when I couldn’t figure out how to start the tv system. I wouldn’t hesitate to return with my family.
Charming home set on a beautiful piece of property. Home was spacious and clean. The property, including the swimming pool and porch, were very private. Stonemill beach is a 2 min walk, although there are plenty of nicer beaches via short drive. Ridgeway is a lovely town and people are very friendly. Excellent communication and support from host and property caretakers.
Beautifully landscaped property. Quaint interior with ample space to spread out for a large family. Large fire pit and poolside patio for relaxing. Short walk to waterfront and short drive to nearby beaches, shops, towns, etc.
We had such a nice time at the Kelly’s cottage. It is spacious and we felt right at home. The porch was a perfect place to relax. The pool was great and the beach is just down the road. It checks all the boxes for a great family vacation. We will be back!
We had a wonderful time during our stay. The entire family enjoyed the space and want to return. We especially loved the pool! Thank you to Ken for opening up his lovely home. Thank you to Karen and Mark for taking care of the property and pool while we were there. Everything we needed for a vacation was provided and we are looking forward to next year's visit.
Ken was wonderful to deal with - always very quick to respond to any questions we had!
The property was spacious and perfect for our family and young grandchildren (between the ages of 1 and 7 years old). The wide wrap-around porch was perfect even on the one rainy day we had. Otherwise the kids played in the big yard & enjoyed the pool all day long! The near by biking trail was also a hit with our family.
Lots of special memories!
Our family enjoyed our week at this beautiful home. Very spacious with all the amenities you need for the family (towels, soap, fully stocked kitchen cupboards, laundry, dishwater, wifi, etc). We enjoyed our daily bike rides on the Friendship Trail, playing games on the field, swimming and relaxing by the pool and campfires at night. There is a beautiful beach called Crescent Beach a short distance away (15min by bike directly on the trail and only a 5 min drive) with soft sand and warm water. The owners and maintenance staff are attentive and helpful and ensured we had a wonderful stay. My kids were sad to leave and want to go back again! Thank you for a great week!
Fantastic spacious property which was perfect for our energetic family!
Beautiful original home with plenty of space for everyone. The kids were well occupied with the swimming pool and large garden area to play in, while the adults had plenty of room to relax and unwind. This house is in a great location, close to the beach and main roads into Niagara. We will definitely return!

lovely property for relaxing and enjoying each others company
Our family group of 10 adults loved our week at this relaxing home. There was plenty of room for all. The large porch was a great place to read, relax, and chat. It was also a good location for day trips to Toronto and Niagara on the Lake.

Great summer place for a family
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property. The large yard and the pool were great assets for our grandchildren. The house is old but is in good shape for its age. It is comfortable and has a welcoming feel to it. It is well maintained and was clean when we arrived. Kitchen is well equipped. The wrap around porch is awesome and we spent a lot of time sitting out there. We also spent many fun nights sitting around the fire pit. They have many lawn chairs which was a bonus. We were able to have dinner outside every night at the long picnic table and made good use of the barbeque. We were happy to have the use of a washer and dryer as we had young children with us. There was plenty of space and beds for the 10 of us. Ken and Keenan are very hospitable hosts. We loved our stay so much that we will be back next summer.
