"The Riata Motel is Marfa's most reasonable accommodation. The Riata meets all the basic needs for an affordable stay. The rooms are large. The beds are comfortable. The restroom is clean. There's a microwave oven and small freezer/refrigerator, also. Our room had a very nice sofa and large screen TV. There's great ice available in the lobby. This is our choice when we visit Marfa."

"We had an excellent stay and enjoyed the location and the lodging. Our reservation was cancelled a few weeks before arriving at the Paisano due to remodeling issues. We found this place and are extremely happy that we did! Wonderful little bungalow, very clean, nice atmosphere, nice porch on the north side of the building, and a very convenient location. Nice shower, bathroom, living area, kitchen and the king size bed was very comfy! Oh, and dog friendly with a very reasonable pet fee...better than the 40/night per pet at the Paisano. Nice little grass area in front of the porch for Dolly to relax and roll on. Conveniences not available at the Paisano such as ground floor access and close proximity to our vehicle as we could park out front on the street. Made it a cinch to load and unload the vehicle. We are out in Marfa a few times a year. Glad we found this place and will definitely return again!"

"Enjoyed our stay at this refrigerated air home. Large rooms. Efficient kitchen. Front and back areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Backyard has a covered area with a large table and chairs. Pet-friendly is an extra bonus!"

"Can’t say enough good things about Terry’s home. It was absolutely perfect for our trip to Marfa. Such a unique property in a perfect location and absolutely perfect for our group of four. The beds were so comfortable and the space was more than adequate. We were bummed about the weather not cooperating for our trip to the observatory, but the clouds parted just enough for us to have a great night of stargazing right out back in the seating area. This will be our go-to place to stay for future trips out west! Thanks, Terry!"

"Very interesting and unique way to stay in Marfa. It was very quiet and easy to get to. We loved the view out of the windows and felt it was remote enough for us to unwind. The wifi was a bit difficult but that was due to a lot of recent storms in the area. I had to reset the router and it is password protected unlike how the desk said it was unlocked. However the password for the regular wifi works on the specific containers router."
