From the incredible private hot tub views to the outdoor adventures, there is something for everyone at the Horsetooth Retreat. Enjoy the privacy of this mountain retreat that overlooks Horsetooth Reservoir and is a short 2 minute drive to lake access. Motor boats, paddle boards and kayaks are available for rent at the marina. Watch for the families of deer as you drive up the dirt road to our private retreat. As you walk through the front door, you will feel at home with the fully remodeled interior. Spend winter nights in the hot tub watching the snow fall over the reservoir. Three bedroom, two bathroom newly renovated reservoir retreat with hot tub and patio dining overlooking Horsetooth Reservoir and Fort Collins. The lower level is dedicated to the "Master King Suite". You will find a king sized bed, Smart TV and private bath including a large tub and shower. The main level offers two bedrooms. One furnished with a queen bed and the other with two twins. You'll have a restful night's sleep on the luxury bedding supplied with plenty of cozy blankets. With the fully remodeled kitchen, you'll enjoy cooking your groups breakfast or packing a picnic for the day's adventures. If you are missing city life, don't stress. Just 10 minutes away you will find the vibrant city of Fort Collins where you can smell the beer brewing and nightlife come alive. The home does have a semi-steep driveway and 4-wheel or all wheel drive is suggested. House was very clean and they leave you a little gift package. The second floor, which is the main 'floor has 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living, laundry, and a bathroom. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the seating area around it. The master bedroom is on the first floor. It was very clean and the bed was great! Unfortunately it did not have anywhere to hang your clothes or even a dresser to put your phone down on. You have 2 small suitcase racks and 2 small bedside tables. The sink in the bathroom had a very slow clog, which the owers now know about so I am sure they will have it fixed. It is evident that they take care of the place. I think it it is a great place to rent, but it needs a dresser or desk and chair to sit on in the master bedroom. A place to hang your clothes or even unpack the is greatly needed too. It's a quick drive from Fort Collins, but you feel like you are truly in Colorado wilderness. Relaxing in the hot tub and gazing at the stars and the city lights in the distance. Great location- 30 minutes to Fort Collins for restaurants and shopping. Great spot for hikes.
