The location is fabulous, close to shops and restaurants, so I was able to walk to most places I wanted to go. The host was very welcoming and did a number of things to make my stay pleasant. The one thing that wasn't clear from the listing was that the second bed is an inflatable mattress. While the apartment could sleep 4 using that, it would have been helpful to know that ahead of time. It was a quick walk of a few blocks through a tree-lined neighborhood to get to the Old Town shopping/eating district. Everything in the Loft was well-maintained and clean. We were able to heat up just about any leftovers we had with the microwave and oven combo, which saved us the cost of a few meals while being able to fully enjoy what we'd purchased earlier. A local grocery store is within walking limits, which was great for getting drinks and snacks. Although I hadn't thought too much about having the car port included when booking the Loft, if you have two options, this may be the detail that puts the Loft at the top. It was great during July to keep the car from getting too hot, and would assume in the winter, it will reduce the need to clean off your vehicle of frost or snow. Also nice to have a dedicated spot, so if you do need to drive somewhere, you can come back whenever and park directly under your accommodations. The owner communicated well with us and I was comfortable with the amount of interaction we had. We will definitely stay here again if we need lodging in the Ft. Collins area. ##### Charita P.
