Close to town but not so close you could hear anything but the ocean. Deer in the yard every night. Clean convenient and well equipped. The fire pit in the back yard was a joy. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. There was a great view of the ocean with beach access a short fee miles away. The wood burning fire place (indoor) and fire pit outdoor were cozy and were a great place for family time. We enjoyed the botanical gardens nearby and a visit to Glass Beach (about 3 miles away). The 5 bedrooms were comfortable. The kids loved the deer that hang out there, as well as the jack rabbits. Close to the botanical gardens, which are beautiful, and many state parks with ocean access.Only issues with the house itself is that there wasn't enough hot water for the 7 of us. Had tow work hard to stagger showers to have enough hot water. Housekeeping staff had left 5 full sets of sheets in the dryer, which I needed to fold.
