Enjoy a relaxing time on a quiet 58-acre lake in the foothills of the Adirondacks. Play in the pedal boat, canoe or on one of the Stand-Up Paddleboards, swim or fish. You can even use the paddleboards like open kayaks with the detachable seats.
Spend an evening around the campfire eating S’mores, telling ghost stories and making memories.
This unique property was actually built and used as a vacation rental in the 1930s until 1954.
The soothing atmosphere of the large screened-in porch is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or while gathered around with family and friends over dinner while enjoying the beautiful views of Copeland Pond. Take in the views of the lake and the mountains while cuddled in one of the rocking chairs, or just grab a book and relax.

This is a smoke-free property. The dock, watercraft and firepit are shared with the cottage next door.

Great weekend at the camp

We had a great long weekend, the cabin is rustic as described but comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed the big screened porch and easy access to the pond, where we spent most of our time. Nice fire pit too!

Great family getaway

We stayed at the cabin this summer with our two kids and our dog and had a great time. The boys loved the paddle boards and swimming in the pond. The location is quaint but close enough to Lake George or Fort Ann to go out for dinner after enjoying some peace and quiet all day. The cabin is well stocked with everything you’d need to make a meal - honestly probably the best equipped rental property we’ve stayed in.

If you are thinking of renting a charming authentic Adirondack cabin on a quiet pond this place is perfect - better than advertised as a matter of fact. We read, swam, cooked, and hiked. It was idyllic, rustic without being too remote to run into town for groceries. Clean and well-maintained by the hosts without sacrificing the magic. The hosts were available but totally unobtrusive. It was exactly what we had hoped for.

Relaxing getway

Only stayed 2 nights with my daughter and her dog. We needed a quick, quiet getaway. Great spot very quiet and relaxing. Cabin was perfect for our quick trip. We enjoyed our stay at Copeland Pond very much. The owners do a super job maintaining the property. Supplied with all the basics for comfort and fun. Even the hummingbird feeder was full when we arrived. Nice quiet large pond. Good birding, and fishing right off the dock. Highly recommended!

Lake life is the good life

Great stay at Linda’s camp! It was great having access to the water vessels off a very nice dock to relax on. We fished, we swam, and floated around the lake a lot. The cabin was nicely appointed and rustic as described. It should be noted that you share the outside space with another house so your quietness will depend on your neighbors.

A Classic Lakeside Camp

Our first all-family vacation together in the north country was a great success all around. Our hosts Linda and John could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Just the right amenities, a quiet setting on Copeland Pond near Lake George, and a throwback to the summer camps of long ago. We were five adults, one ten year-old, and THREE dogs, and everyone had room to breathe. Looking forward to returning soon!

Perfect property for a relaxing getaway

We enjoyed a week in this cozy cabin. Our hosts were gracious and responded quickly with answers to any questions. The major draws for me were the covered porch with a view of the water, the dock, which was perfect for lounging and fishing, and the watercraft, especially the paddle boards that doubled as kayaks. The pond is clean, warm, and full of large mouth bass. The location is wonderful- secluded yet not too far from restaurants and everything the close by town of Lake George had to offer. With one bathroom, it was a little tight for my large family, but I can definitely see my husband, myself, and our golden retriever visiting again.

We had a wonderful stay. The home was exactly as described. Photos do not do justice. Location was very quiet. Away from hustle and bustle of Lake George but within easy 20 min drive to Queensbury or Lake George. We had plenty of room for 6 adults. Gorgeous view of water from screened porch. Enjoyed use of paddle boards/kayaks. Home was spotless and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Linda has provided everything you could want or need. Would definitely recommend this property.

Peaceful little place

We spend several days in this property, two couples and two dogs. We enjoyed everything about it, we used the paddle board, the row boat for fishing and navigating the pond. Our dogs enjoyed a few swims themselves. The fire pit was a hit among other things. The home is fully equipped with items for the stay, so you can pack light. It’s a beautiful place to recharge from the city life. We recommend 100%. The owner was attentive and easy to communicate. We already planning our next visit.

Beautiful isolated location on the lake

The lake location of this cabin is unbeatable. The cabin is a little small, but fine for a group of four or five in a pinch. The location is a little remote - it's in the countryside, so don't expect a lot of stores to be close. The screened in porch is glorious to sit and relax on any time of day, and the dock and lake are beautiful especially in the morning. It's close to Lake George, and anything in the area of Lake George is reasonably accessible. The cabin was quaint and clean. The beds were comfy. The porch and dock have ample chairs and seating, so bringing your own seating is not necessary.

Perfect summer get away in the Adirondacks

This stay was the perfect vacation place for our adult family of 5 and 2 dogs. The cabin had everything we could possibly need, great comfortable screened in porch to enjoy meals and enjoy the view of the pond and nature. The dock was so much fun complete with canoe, paddle boat and stand up kyaks. My husband spend hours fishing off the dock and i enjoyed soothing canoe trips around the pond. Couldn't ask for a better location if you want to go and do things in Lake George, which my kids took advantage of. Linda and her husband we excellent hosts, extremely responsive if we needed anything. Our only regret is we didn't take advantage of the great fire pit to make smores. Oh well, maybe next year. Highly recommend this cabin if you want a real Adirondack experience.
