Newly refurbished to an extremely high standard, this stunning two bedroom cottage with woodburning stove, open plan living/dining room and full width sliding doors that open onto a West facing patio with patio furniture perfect for al fresco dining is the ultimate in comfort, luxury and relaxation. Surrounded by countryside, you'll be able to escape the hustle and bustle and relax in comfort and style. The two bedrooms are both en-suite and feature a rolltop bath and stand alone showers. Burgie estate is 40 min from Inverness, 20 min from Elgin. The towns of Forres and Nairn are 10min and 25min away respectively. Slightly further a field Aviemore is 1hour away, Aberdeen is 1hour 40min, Fort William is 2hrs 30min and Perth is 2hrs 40min. 1 Mains of Burgie is a perfect base for the multiple activities on offer in the area. The area boasts multiple wild swimming opportunities from sea swimming in Nairn, Findhorn and Lossiemouth to Loch swims in Lochindorb and Loch Ness. We can not begin to list the walking and hiking opportunities in the area, though we do suggest starting with our own arboretum! If there is an outdoor activity you enjoy you will be able to find some where in the area that does it. For history buffs the area is packed full of Castles, battlefields and Pictish forts.
