"I had a great stay at Alt Hotel Winnipeg. The space strikes a nice balance between chic and cozy, and the staff were genuinely warm and very helpful throughout my visit. I used the gym for a couple of days, and it held up surprisingly well as a substitute for my usual GoodLife workout. While a sauna or pool would have been a nice bonus, I understand the space constraints it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The location is a real highlight. It’s close to coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery stores, which made it easy to grab anything I needed during my stay. I also appreciated the hotel’s focus on eco-friendliness and guest security. The key card access to floors and common areas added an extra layer of comfort and peace of mind. Overall, a stylish, well-located hotel with thoughtful touches I’d definitely stay again."

"The only issue is that the temperature outside had warmed up and they hadn’t switched over to cooling yet, and my room was hooooot. They sent someone twice but there wasn’t much they could do as ac wasn’t on yet. "

"The location is great and the room is cozy and clean. We had an issue with our tv and they quickly gave us the option to move rooms, which we did. My only dislikes were the window between the bathroom and the room, instead of a wall. They do have a blind but you can still see through the blind, more if the light is on in the bathroom and out in the room. Fine if you’re a couple, but if friends come for a pop in before heading out, it’s uncomfortable for the to use the washroom. Also the WiFi was not good. Slow, kept stalling and you had to log in each day."

"The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I had appointments at St Boniface hospital and it is walking distance to that. I was disappointed that there wasn't a microwave in the room. I had leftover from my lunch meal and I had to take it down to he front desk for them to heat. When I asked the girl why there wasn't a microwave she said that they offer 2 restaurants so she didn't see the need for microwaves. I'm not a fan of the rainhead shower which is what they have but that's just a personal preference. I would stay again only if I had early appointments at St. Boniface hospital."
