Small town motel. Clean. Staff very helpful (left key cards available for afterhours check in) but no one on site during the night. No 'corner store' nearby. Quiet. Decent motel.

The bed was spacious and comfortable but the other furniture was dated. The door was difficult to open and close because the door sweep was really tight against the floor. The room was cold and I had to sit near the duct next to the bed for awhile to warm up. The bathroom floor was ice cold. Seems there isn't good insulation from the space below. In the shower, there is an exhaust fan that doesn't have a cover. When it was off, a flap outside was banging with the wind. Impossible to sleep with that. My only option was to leave the fan & light on all night. At least the noise was steady. Batteries in the tv remote were low. Overpriced! (I had luxury accommodations in Tacoma at the Marriott for a mere $30 more.)

good place if you’re visiting forks. check out the hamburger place across the street. the noise from the street is loud but we had heater and ac and nice warm shower so i say this place was great! everything was clean and the bed wasn’t bad

Twilight trip
Clean and easy for where we wanted to explore in Forks as a twilight fan. I do think additional mirror in room would be good because bathroom is snug. I would also recommend adding additional latch type lock to feel safer. We asked for extra towels because we knew would be going out very early and lady at desk was awesome, she went right then and there to get them. Cute small motel but felt safe and very clean. They gave us a very complete list of eating options including time and if they had wifi .

DO NOT do late check-in at this property!!! I couldn’t get into my room and had to drive an hour away at 1 AM to find somewhere to sleep. I called ahead per the instructions to let them know I would be arriving after office hours, and they sent me instructions for a smartphone app to use to unlock the door. I downloaded the app and it seemed like it was working, but when I arrived at the motel that night our door recognized the app but flashed red and wouldn’t let us in. We tried extensively to contact them but they didn’t give us an after-hours or emergency number, nor was there one posted at the motel, or even at what I think is their sister property across town (which the sign on their door recommended calling). We wasted about half an hour trying the door, calling them, and trying the few other motels in town, but everyone was either closed or booked up, and we had to backtrack an hour to Port Angeles to find a chain hotel that was open and had a room. The only positive thing I have to say is that they were quick to refund me when I called the next day. Maybe this was just a fluke, but it was one that was avoidable with better processes and safeguards, and it cost me a significantly pricier hotel room and hours of driving at the end of an already long day. In short, if you stay here, don’t risk this experience. Call ahead first to insist on an after-hours number in case you’re delayed and do not under any circumstances rely on their app to get into your room.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Far West. Clean, convenient, etc. Staff went the extra mile when I discovered the TV wasn't working because of a cord that got unconnected.

This motel lost our reservation. Even though we arrived right on time with our Expedia confirmation in hand, they did not have a room for us. Luckily, Forks Motel down the road was accommodating, cheaper and had better ammenities like a pool. Avoid Far West and stay elsewhere in town!

The room was TINY ! There was no place to hang clothes or set suitcases, the bathroom's counter was a joke with hardly enough room for a toothbrush. We wasted the price of a second night at this joke of a motel and left a day early just to avoid having to endure another night of its absurd size . . . consequently wasting the price of the second night.

We stayed here two nights while exploring ONP. Looks like new floor have been put down recently and it was nice and clean. Some of the furniture needs updating. Our table was very wobbly. Bathroom is small but atleast clean. This is not a fancy place but it was perfect for us because we weren't spending much time there. Clean room and comfy bed!

The appearance of the property is nice, and so is the room--at first glance. Once you get to settling in, you discover the smoke alarm is missing, there is only one bedside lamp and the switch is broken so you have to plug it in to turn it on. At least the bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. Way overpriced at $200 per night!
