"This was more than a lake view,they had a dock and I'm not sure if it was part of the app or not but they had no less than 8 personal water crafts and with a quick release signed, beach towels in the closet along with life jackets we were on the lake enjoying it. We enjoyed swimming, the tolerance for weeds was there and apparently the water drops of fairly quickly to get a decent swim in. There was really not a problem, but we asked the host to accommodate us in a way that would make our stay better and I am afraid they felt it was something they missed or neglected, and went far out of their way to accommodate. The think I liked was the quality of everything, the dishes we had were nice quality especially for a rental unit. We had our own dedicated fire pit, and grill. Great communication including a note about a dip in the common road. The place was great for us in the summer and would probably be alot of fun in the winter, especially taking a hike on the lake or even ice fishing. We'll worth the money when it came to getting on lake front."

"We have rented this home two years in a row. It is a lovely house on a prime lakefront location on beautiful Forest Lake in Whitefield, NH. The home is well appointed and nicely decorated. The location is incredibly peaceful. The rental comes with two adult kayaks and one child kayak. The only reason I am not giving this place five stars is because it doesn't come with a canoe. We come to Forest Lake to fish and it is virtually impossible to do from a kayak. We have had to rent a canoe from someone else on the lake. At this price point, we shouldn't have to incur that extra expense in order to fish. If the home came with a canoe, I would enthusiastically be giving it 5 stars."

"It’s very quiet. The tents are well constructed, & can withstand wind, rain (we experienced both) without issue. The main lodge tent is supplied with a small kitchen, snacks, & merch. The fire pits are abundant (3 total) & there is ample seating. Parking is easy in & out. At night the sky is beautiful. Unfortunately it was cloudy, raining for our stay so star gazing was limited. On clear nights it must be breathtaking. The beds are remarkably comfortable. Better than some hotels actually. If you have never seen the Milky Way, I would recommend this as a destination. Definitely an enjoyable experience."

"The view from the house back deck is breathtaking, but prepared to hike up a Skislope to get back to the house from the lake, but other than that, it was perfect. The privacy was amazing. The peace of this land was unheard of to me if you’re looking for a peaceful tranquil vacation to get away from the stresses this is the perfect place and if you have pets they’re gonna love this place."

"We had a great trip! My husband and I booked the mirror house for a weekend getaway! For a weekend, it was absolutely perfect! Small, intimate and cozy! We fully enjoyed the amenities such as the kayaks, hot tub, and sauna. Communication with Mary was always polite and prompt, and she gave such wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat! The only misunderstanding (which was a misunderstanding on my part) was we thought the location was going to be a tad more isolated than it was. However, that doesn’t take away from the charm and experience! There is a group of turkeys that frequents the area and being able to see them up close while being inside was really cool! The house is luxury tucked away in the wild!"
