"Small room but nice "

"We recently had the pleasure of staying at the newly opened Viceroy Ombria Algarve, and it exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome—genuinely friendly, attentive, and always eager to help without being intrusive. The architecture is truly a standout feature: modern yet rooted in the local aesthetic, with beautiful design touches throughout that made the entire property feel luxurious and unique. The pools were absolutely incredible—serene, well-designed, and perfect for relaxing under the Algarve sun. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean, and every space feels modern and updated, clearly reflecting the care that went into its recent opening. We also spent some time at the spa, which was nothing short of perfection. From the ambiance to the quality of treatments, it was a top-tier wellness experience. The on-site restaurants were also excellent. Each meal we had was flavorful and beautifully presented, with a variety of options that catered to both local and international palates. One important note for future guests: the hotel is located in the countryside, so it’s a good 30–45 minutes by car to the coastal Algarve towns and beaches. A rental car is definitely recommended if you plan to explore beyond the resort. "Absolutely fantastic villa. Location is so peaceful and private, but close enough to all the amenities in the main town and beautiful nature all around. We loved the layout of the villa, so much space, beautifully decorated and everything you could need and more in terms of utensils, appliances etc. The pool was great. We had the best week with the kids and can't recommend enough."

"Loved this house, so much character and lots of space. Well equipped kitchen and beds very comfortable- air conditioning really helped on the hotter days.Joana was a great host, very quick to respond to any questions and full of info on things to do.We were happy spending whole days at home, with the pool, outdoor and indoor games and balconies to sit out on.Very close to Loulé with lots of shops and restaurants and easy to drive to the coast. Already recommended to other family members, and would not hesitate to come back!"

"First, I will comment about the "team" at Casa Yeanos. Eddy contacted us several time before and during our stay to insure we were happy and had everything we needed. The property manager met us to tour the property when we checked in and again when we checked out. They were always available to answer questions or offer recommendations. There are others such as the housekeeper, gardener, and pool person you could see during your stay. The property is in the hills above Faro. It's a walled property with a security gate and private parking. Depending on the time of day it could take up to 30 minutes to get to the old town of Faro where many excellent restaurants are located. I would like to mention Le Marquis as being the best dining experience while atayinf at Casa Yaenos. It's about a 10 minute drive from the property. It's French inspired and totally worth the slightly higher costs. The house is large enough for most families and small groups. It was only me and my spouse on this trip so we had more than enough room to spread out. The outside area is very nice (in spring, Summer, and early fall. The pool is large enough to accomodate children on one end and floating adults on the other end. There are no close neighbors to impinge on your privacy. The kitchen is adequately equipped (average VRBO) to allow cooking but you will need to supply your own spices. The bedrooms are well sized with baths in suite. We totally enjoyed our stay at Casa Yaenos. "
