Villa Contessa Chiara is located in Fontanile, in Piedmont, in the beautiful countryside of Monferrato, an area rich in old borghi and castles which, between one hill and another, dominate extensive vineyards where fine wines are produced, thanks to the nourishment of a generous land, also a treasure trove of highly-scented “diamonds”: truffles. The large, two-floor plastered villa of 700 sq m is embellished by the three patios where the elements of the brick columns, that support the beautiful sloping roofing with exposed tiles, stand out. In harmony with the warm colours of the terrain and landscape of the territory of Monferrato, the wood and terracotta characterise the interior furnishings of the villa where the prevailing classic-style accessories blend perfectly with the more modern elements of design, offering guests a high standard of aesthetics and comfort for a memorable vacation. From the large windows of the living rooms and bedrooms, the enchanting views of the hills, vineyards and the park itself refresh the spirit and complete the furnishings of the villa with the true artwork designed by Mother Nature. In the luxuriant 1-hectare park surrounding the villa is the Club House adjacent to the large swimming pool and the regulation-size, synthetic grass tennis court which can be transformed into a five-a-side football pitch. A real corner of paradise for those who dream of a holiday dedicated to games, sports and fun in the open air, with all facilities at their disposal, and then ending up the day's activities with a relaxing sauna before having a festive barbecue in the large patio of the Club House. Just a few minutes away, in Fontanile, Mombaruzzo and Nizza Monferrato, the latter recognised throughout the world as the "Capital of Barbera", all services and shops can be found to satisfy those who wish to spend their holidays in the enchanting environment of Tenuta Contessa Chiara. Interior: The main entrance leads to a large living room, with fireplace, from the centre of which two steps lead to the dining room connected on one side to the kitchen with the fireplace (usable) and to the other side to the reading room. In the living room, near the fireplace (usable), is a door leading to the sleeping area composed of a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi and two doubles sharing a bathroom with shower. A guest bathroom completes the sleeping area which, at the end of the corridor, has an independent entrance from the park. On either side of the living room, two staircases wind symmetrically up to the first floor with a large sitting room with fireplace (usable) and an area used as a study, beyond which you come to a twin bedroom with 2 queen size beds, a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi. Going back through the study and sitting room, a corridor with built-in wardrobes leads to the sleeping area with a single bederoom with en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi, a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, and finally a double bebdroom and a twin bedroom (with joinable beds) sharing a bathroom with shower. At the end of the corridor is an enchanting internal balcony, overlooking the large living room below, and from which one of the two identical and symmetrical staircases leads back down to the living room on the ground floor. Here, a laundry room and a guest bathroom are located near the stairs that descend to the large basement with a billiard table. In the park, near the swimming pool and tennis court, is the large, 250 sq m Club House with a big central patio, with brazier, tables and chairs, on one side of which is a fully-equipped kitchen with adjoining pantry and a room with table and chairs and, on the other side, a changing room, sauna, two showers and two toilets. Park: Once past the automatic gate, a paved driveway descends for about 60 metres between the first planted lawns of the park and leads to a large open area where cars can be parked. A stone walkway leads to the main door of the villa, in front of a large lawn. Trees and flowers colour this corner of the park which will enchant you while consuming breakfast or lunch in the shade of the patio. The park extends all around the villa, opening onto large green areas with lush trees offering welcome oases of shade. In particular, the south-facing part slopes gently down towards the regulation-size synthetic grass tennis court and the big 220 sq m) swimming pool, surrounded by a large solarium. This area of the park is dominated by the large Club House with a 50 sq m central patio, equipped with a brazier, table and chairs, which separates a large kitchen from the area with changing rooms, bathrooms and sauna. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa. Swimming Pool: Tiled and measuring 22 x 10 m with a depth of 3,5 m, the swimming pool of Villa Contessa Chiara allows you to swim properly rather than just bathing as in other traditional residential pools. Part of the pool is shallow to allow safe bathing for children and less experienced swimmers. On the large tiled area around the pool, between one dip and another, you can relax on comfortable sunbeds and deck chairs, under shady umbrellas, and in the adjacent Club House, with its large kitchen and fully-equipped patio, with the changing rooms, sauna and outdoor shower, you can make use of any service throughout the day. The pool is available from the last Saturday of May to the first Saturday of October. Tennis-court: The tennis court, located in a parallel position to the swimming pool which is about 25 m away from it and adjacent to the changing rooms of the Club House, is made of green synthetic material, has regular size with corridors for doubles matches, fenced off, unlit. The availability of two doors can make it a soccer field. Pets: Yes, small size. € 50,00 per animal per week. Acceptance of animals to the facility must be previously authorised by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, size and breed.
