"Everything was immaculate...Only minor issue getting back in after a late dinner. But host got it resolved...We will stay again.."

"The hotel needs a deep clean inside and out. Our room was dirty in the corners and edges of the room. The shower had old black soap scum in the soap holder. More lighting is needed outside where the room entrances are for safety reasons. We were there for two days and three nights and never received maid service even though the DND tag was not on the door. I called about maid service three times the second day and was assured we would receive it but never did. I asked for at least a towel delivery while we waited for full service and was told towels would be sent but they were not. The air conditioner rattled terribly - not the usual humming sound. The sound made it difficult to sleep so I had to turn off the air, which meant sleeping in a 79 degree room. I called about service for the air conditioning unit - twice - but it wasn’t repaired. One of the two elevators was out of service one of the days, which meant taking the stairs frequently. Location was great. Outdoor bar was great. Live music was great. Beach was great. Definitely was not worth the $500 or so per night rate with all the issues."

"We had an excellent stay at Water’s Edge. The B&B was well kept, the breakfast was great, and the location is unbeatable! Unfortunately the hot tub now closes at 9pm and we didn’t get a chance to use it but it looked like a great set up. Staff was friendly and helpful. There are steep stairs to access the B&B and more stairs to access the rooms."

"We loved a one night stay at Riverside cottages. We were there for a graduation from college of Charleston. And our whole family had a beach house at Folly Beach so we decided to just rent one of the bedrooms in the cottages. It was very pleasant. Everything was clean a good night sleep. The bed was comfortable. The next morning was a great surprise. There was a little kitchen with a full breakfast buffet laid out with pastries, toast, muffins, coffee, juices, fruit, yogurt, and cereals! We were totally surprised it was nice talking to the other guest and being with the lady that ran the kitchen and the dining area. Everybody was very sweet and it was like we were staying in a guest house! Just beautiful, we will stay here again next time."

"Our recent stay was simply incredible! The ocean views were stunning, the house was immaculate (pictures don't do it justice), extremely well equipped, and the communication with the host/management company exceeded our expectations. If the on line pictures of this house caught your eye - don't look any further as it is simply better in person. If you feel like cooking - the kitchen has everything (and more) than you need. There is even an extra refrigerator under the house which was great for the drinks we brought to the beach. The provided beach chairs were top quality if you are looking to spend lazy days on the beach (which is beautiful).Thank you for a wonderful stay. We rented the house for the week of our daughters wedding and enjoyed the calm relaxation of the beach leading up to wedding day. And the morning of the wedding - we had amazing pictures of the bride getting ready."

"Super close to the beach and a very quiet area of Folly. We love all the restaurants and entertainment, would recommend bringing a scooter or bike to get around from here. Overall super nice place and great location! "

"Very nice spacious house that was well equipped for a beach vacation. Owners were very responsive and provided additional information for things we wanted to do there. Great for entertaining with many grills and things for the kids to do (ping pong etc). Beach was approx 4 blocks from the ocean (could walk) however we rented a LSV (golf cart) which was very convenient for shops/lunch/beach etc. Would certainly recommend this property as you can tell it is well maintained."
