Fly to Loreto, Beach front 4 bdr, 2 Casitas, 3 king beds Coyote-Concepcion Bay
Perfect weather during the Winter months! In the 70’s. There are gorgeous views of the sunrise over the sea. Morning kayaking or paddle boarding with glass like water is phenomenal. Kayaks and paddle boards included. There are venders on the beach nearby offering boat rides, fishing, horseback riding, and also seafood, tamales and other things. Bertha’s is a small market and cafe right across the street. They have very good fish tacos and chicken. The store has a few basic grocery items and beer. There are a few other small restaurants along the way headed north. We grocery shop in Loreto before we head out. We stop in Santa Rosalia if driving there from up north. Mulege is good for filling in. We just finished a remodel of the kitchen. New Quartz stone countertops, lighting and appliances, including a 5 burner gas stove, dishwasher and stainless French door fridge. There is also a new sectional and chairs in the living area for your comfort. The covered veranda offers shade, and comfortable outdoor furnished sitting areas. There is a gas grill for your use. There are four bedrooms, two of which are separate casitas with king beds we recently built. In the house, the mstr bedroom has is a king bed and bath. There is one queen bed in upstairs loft area with view of the sea (open to living area below), with privacy curtain. The area where our house is located is off the grid. There is no cellular or power. We have a large solar system and back up generator. We include 3 free hours of fuel for the generator a day if you need it. Generally you won’t use more than that. To cover our costs it is $15 an hour for more than 3 hours usage of the generator per day. Generally the 3 hours will cover you. We have Star Link Satellite and wifi phone service and television. We watch Netflix generally for a movie. It is our little bit of heaven on the Sea of Cortez. It is beautiful in the spring, fall and winter. It is very hot in the summer. You can fly in to Loreto , from there it is a 90 minute beautiful easy drive from Loreto. Head north along the coast to get there. You can rent a car in Loreto. You can also drive down the Baja to get there. It is a 14 hour drive from San Diego. It is a beautiful drive through the desert landscapes. Our bay has beautiful protected glass like water, making it excellent for kayaking, paddle boarding, diving, fishing, snorkeling, sailing, swimming and just viewing. Sometimes the beautiful Whale Sharks are hanging out in our bay eating and lounging. You see porpoises and dolphins. Great for bird lovers, there are Orioles, Cardinals, several birds of prey including Osprey. There are many water foul birds including Great Blue Herons and Great White Egrets. We have a seafood vendor that stops by many mornings offering shrimp, fish, scallops and sometimes lobster! Also our tamale vendor stops by most mornings. There are hiking trails to the contiguous bays and canyons near by. You can kayak to the little island across the bay or around to the next cove. The island has secluded beaches and great snorkeling. There is a Sailing & Kayaking school and guided trips 2 doors down! There are cafes on the water and small store and cafe across the road. The cute small town of Mulegé is a 20 minute drive north where you can dine, shop and get groceries. Santa Rosalía is a beautiful 1 hour drive north. It is fun to take a drive up there and have lunch or shop. We have a local fishing guide right on our beach. There is also a guide in nearby bay. Also in Mulege there are a couple of larger charter fishing boats.

Such a wonderfully magical spot. Quiet sunrises, relaxing paddles, great food and friends. Great space for preparing and enjoying our fresh caught fish. The casita layout was wonderful. Carmen and Manuel were responsive and helpful.
This bay is exquisite, witnessed by the many campers that enjoy it also. The house is authentically Mexican with a very comfortable master bed and two casitas for privacy. The bay and amenities are the best! We could have sat there all day and often did. We hope to return sometime.
The host, caretakers and property was everything they promised to be. We watched the sunrise from the zero gravity recliners most mornings and were used the kayaks every day. We had three separate couples, and the two Casitas and master suite in the main house gave a perfect blend between common spaces to congregate and privet spaces to escape to. The only downsides (which were minor) was proximity to the highway and some trouble with the kitchen appliances (which I'm sure is fixed by now). Communication with the host was excellent and the caretakers were extremely gracious and responsive. We would certainly stay again!
My family and I loved it here. The sunrises were amazing. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we could ask for. I’d recommend this place to anyone.
Great space right on beach. Beds were super comfy and plenty of space to relax. Enjoyed the vendor who brought seafood and homemade banana bread to the beach
Awesome place to take the family or friends right on the water. Great kitchen and grill to BQQ clams or whatever you catch. House was very well equipped.
A beautiful house on the beach. Well appointed and very comfortable. The available yoga mat was a nice touch. And best of all, the kayaking was fantastic.
I feel like the listing really undersells the property. It was amazing for our group of seven. There is a main house with a couple of bedrooms and bathrooms and a kitchen - and then there are two separate, private casitas - each with kitchenettes and bathrooms. This is a well-thought-out place, and well cared for. The caretakers Carmen and Manuel are amazing and responsive. 5-stars.
This place is a very beautiful, nice, clean, quiet place to stay along the bay. We stayed 3 nights. We had carmen cook for us one night and it was delicious. We kayaked to the island and relaxed on the beach. This house is all solar and it was never an issue. There was some miscommunication with the check in which was made more difficult by not having any service but it was handled. We had service once we checked in and got the wifi. We recommend this place and would stay again.
The property mangers were excellent, set us up with fresh fish and scallops and were gracious hosts. Back casita in need of a bathroom door and curtains street side. I had to put up towels for privacy. The upstairs loft we ended up not sleeping in as the staircase railing on one side did not go to the bottom of staircase, we felt like we’d fall in the night trying to get to bathroom. Overall loved the setting and back yard and would stay again.
Great well equipped beach front home close to a quaint Mexican town with restaurants and live entertainment in walking distanced. The kayaks and stand up boards enabled us to take full advantage of El Coyote Bay at our door step.
Hosts Carmen and Emanuel are so helpful and arranged for fresh fish delivery and tamales right to our door.
If you are wishing to stay at s rustic home with s beautiful beach, then this is the place to stay.
There are many things that need to be disclosed. There is no privacy since the rooms lack curtains and the doors do not lock. It looks like a safe place but since the doors don’t lock you are hesitant to leave. The dressers have other people’s clothes already there and you need to put away all your food at night due to the mice running around that come for a night snack. The television doesn’t have reception and neither did my phone do I couldn’t call out to get it repaired. Lastly, you are restricted to the amount of electricity you use because it is on solar power and you are reminded to turn of the AC or you will be in the dark at night. If you can overlook these details, the beach is the most beautiful one we saw anywhere n the area and we still had a great time.
I have to start off by saying how beautiful the location is. The sunrises are amazing and the access to the beach is so convenient. The property itself is spacious and is good for a couple groups of people. There are two casitas on the property both with King beds and full bathrooms. The main house has a master room and two loft rooms that each have a bed. They don’t have much privacy, but great for kids or a play area. The house offers many amenities, such as access to kayaks, paddle boards, card games, etc. There are vendors that stop by the beach daily offering horse back riding, boat rides, and fresh seafood. We took advantage of it all and it was great! Just right out of the drive way there is a little shop and restaurant called Berthas. They were wonderful and hosted a beautiful birthday dinner for our group. I would highly recommend eating there!
The drive from Loreto was easy and a beautiful drive along the water. I recommend stoping in Loreto and stocking up on groceries while in town before coming down. Berthas market is limited and only offers a few variety of items. We also visited Mulege and enjoyed shopping and eating in town. Everyone was so friendly and not to mention the food was amazing!
The owners of the property are wonderful and extremely attentive to any questions or issues you may have. They keep good care of their property and are quick to respond to any message no matter the time and we are grateful for that.
What I can recommend to anyone traveling here is to be sure and make sure the weather will be good during the time of travel. We unfortunately came a week that was extremely hot and we were not prepared for this at all. With the heat came many bugs. Be sure and bring bug spray! Those mosquitoes and sand fleas are bad! The house and beach are everything you think of when traveling to Baja. Peaceful, quiet, and beautiful crystal clear water. This was some of our groups second time to this house and all spoke so highly of it they brought my family and I this time. We are grateful for all the memories we made this last week in a such beautiful location.
Had a great 5 days at this wonderful older home. Such a beautiful location and scenery! Fantastic water for swimming and great kayaking. We didn't have great water pressure at the showers but the kitchen had good pressure. Not sure why?? The final morning the showers were at full pressure......kinda strange. Otherwise we had a wonderful time relaxing in paradise! Hope to stay there again. Would be even better at last year's rates!
We had so much fun! House was great, we had all the appliances we needed and more. We spent our nights playing in the dinning table or enjoying the sound of the waves outside.
On our last days we experiences some bad neighbors behavior due to LOUD music until 4-5 am but overall it was a great experience.
Thank you Janet and Ken!
