" The perfect place to end a full day of chasing waterfalls and viewpoints along Iceland’s stunning south coast. Check-in was seamless, and the staff were consistently kind, welcoming, and informative—exactly what you hope for after a long travel day. Our room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with a kitchenette, cozy beds, excellent water pressure, and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere that made it easy to fully unwind. The hotel has plenty of inviting nooks and cozy corners to settle into with a book or simply relax—something we really appreciated after being out in the elements. The 24/7 gym is impressively well-equipped, featuring everything from a treadmill and stationary bike to a rowing machine, weights, and more. The barrel saunas were a standout—such a unique and restorative experience, especially in the cold. Dinner was absolutely delicious—we ordered the burger and Atlantic char, both full of flavor. And the skyr cake? Truly unforgettable. Breakfast was included and offered a great variety of fresh, satisfying options to start the day right. We actually got snowed in during our stay and made the decision to extend for safety—and honestly, we couldn’t have chosen a better place to be “stuck.” The comfort, amenities, and warmth of the hotel made all the difference. Highly recommend for anyone exploring the south coast."

"Disappointed that all the facilities were closed and inaccessible even to sit and talk. You had to walk over to the big hotel for breakfast and dinner or for a drink. It would s a very short walk but in freezing rain not so nice."

"Good value for money, close to key attractions within the Golden Circle (around half an hour drive), nice staff, great breakfast. Stayed in the superior room - clean, spacious and comfortable overall. Good soundproofing too. There's also a cozy common area and outdoor hot tub at our building. There's EV charging (non-fast charging) available near the reception/ restaurant building, at a fee."

"These igloos were so cool! Our only issue were the door handles. The property had to provide instructions on how to use the handle and it was not real helpful. We were standing in the snow freezing trying to follow the instructions. It took so long we had to go sit in the car for a few minutes to warm up. I imagine this must have been an issue for others which explains the instructions and it was equally hard to get ok of the room each day. I would suggest changing the handles. It made us feel unsafe to be stuck inside not able to get out."
