Was travelling on Blue Ridge Parkway and spent the day hiking in the Rock Castle Gorge. Floyd is closest town to the Gorge. Hotel Floyd is amazingly modern and clean hotel in a very small and charming hamlet of VA.

The building was undergoing some renovations, but they were able to accommodate us with room service and a to-go breakfast even though the restaurant was closed due to renovations underway. Rooms and hallway were quiet, neat and clean, and the beds were comfortable!
