"We circumnavigated Sicily in 10 days and stayed in 6 different towns. Siracusa was our last sightseeing stop. We chose to stay in Floridia to give easy access to the Catania airport for an early flight. Of all our lodging spots, B&B Mediterraneo was the least prepared for our arrival and provided the lowest level of service. It is actually a suite of rooms on the 3rd floor of an apartment building. "The menu was fresh but was also quite minimum. We were happy with it.
We would happily recommend living with Salvo for visiting Syracuse. The location is well located in the city in a quiet neighbourhood, importantly it feels safe. "

"Staying at Lidias place was wonderful. After all the touristy experiences of Naxos Taormina and ortiggia, it was a nice rest. Very close to the best part of the beach, we stayed two nights.
Did laundry there. Felt very welcome. "
