It is located in the perfect location. Walking distance to the major attractions, dining and excursions. You can also walk from the train station to your door. We would stay here again.

BEWARE bed bugs! Stayed here Nov 15-18. I contacted to let them know I had bed bug bites. They indicated they were sorry for”my” troubles. I asked them to check the room. They did not offer any compensation. I am home a week now and I have had to throw away expensive clothes, luggage, coats, and fumigate my car and quite possible my entire home.

This place was really clean and offered nice bed and comforter etc. No person nor lobby on the premise but they were helping me using whatsapp and call quickly. THE LOCATION AND THE RATE WAS AMAZING AND I will stay again if I travel alone again. The only thing we were bothered by it was that cigarette smell was coming in through bathroom vent and it was pretty bad for my family. We had to close the bathroom door all the time but its not pleasant to get ready in the morning smelling cigarettes. Perhaps its coming from other residents in the building not the guests.

We liked our stay in general. Close to every tourist attraction, and train station, walking distance, which was great for us. Clean room. Few negatives remarks, the pillows were very uncomfortable, hard and big, unpleasant smell in the “lobby”.

Beautiful hotel with great staff
Beautiful hotel right next to all of the major sites in Florence and within walking distance of the train station. Rooms were very clean. The water machine where we could fill up our bottles was a great amenity. The staff went above and beyond- I was nervous about the self check-in because we would be arriving late but Daniel was kind enough to meet us at the hotel and helped us check in in person. You are also sent videos and directions on how to check in before you arrive, so you're not figuring it out on your own. The only drawback was that the walls were very thin and we could hear people in the halls and in the room next to us. I would absolutely stay here again- thank you to the staff for the lovely stay!

We like the location very much. The house is clean and comfortable. The only problem we experienced was during the checking time. There was no stuff there even we arrived around 12 noon. But overall we had a good experience.

one of the best locations we ever had on our travels. few steps to the duomo area. our host Greta was so amazing,went extra mile to help us make reservation to a recommended steak restaurant .room was comfortable and clean.

Perfect for exploring Florence
Great place to stay, clean with comfortable beds, lovely air conditioning and really helpful, friendly hosts. Also there is an elevator to the first floor if needed and it is only a short walk from both the main tram stop and the Duomo. All in all, one of the nicest places we have stayed and highly recommended.

very close to the Duomo and other areas, very nice location. the room is quiet and clean, although the street is quite busy, but our room was on the back side. The service is excellent if you do not expect a 5 star 24/7 hotel, which it is not. Gabriella is very good to keep up the email communication. Even they do not have breakfast, but they have a nice coffer machine, for only 50c. (then you consider $1 for using restroom in Italy). Thank you Gabriella, we had good time there, and will stay again if we visit Florence again,

Great hotel!
My husband and I LOVED staying here. It was close to the Duomo and an easy walk to most of the touristy attractions. Checking in was easy and we felt right at home. And the room was spotless. The bed was sufficiently comfortable, though I wouldn't say the hotel was luxurious. Everything was clean and neat. Great location, sparkling clean, and friendly staff. One of our favorite hotel stays as we traveled across Europe.

hotel location is close to shops, restaurants, churches and Duomo..the room is clean but small and a bit dark due to paint color beige and with brown accent ..there is a refrigerator and a water heater should guest want to make coffee.. no microwave. There is also a small elevator that can fit only 2 persons with their luggage..Male receptionist, Andrea is nice and helpful..

Gabriella was wonderful and helpful,we arrived late in the evening and the instructions for getting in were clear and easy to follow.Gabriella had sent an email before our arrival and made me feel welcome before we had even got there.The location is easy to find from the station.There is a little cafe/bar just around the first corner run by Tony who also made us feel welcome and gave us excellent advice about restaurants to go to when we weren’t eating at his cafe.There was a coffee pot in the room and Gabriella gives a coupon for a great breakfast place nearby.Had a wonderful stay and will definitely recommend it to family and friends

Couldn't ask for better!
Stayed here for 2 nights as I was exploring Tuscany and it was a delightful experience. The room is modern and clean, and Gabriella, the host, is so nice and accommodating and her place is in the perfect spot in the heart of the city where you can almost walk everywhere, and it's a 10min walk to Santa Maria Novella train station where most of the Tuscany excursion companies have their meet-up point.

We were impressed with the service, the room was beautiful! Everything is so close by, it made it easy to get to our points of interests. Restaurants very near by, the train station was within walking distance, as was public transit. Though it was in a very transited area of Florence our room was isolated from the outside noise. My husband and I will definitely look into staying at Tourist House Battistero again on our next trip to Florence!

My favorite hotel is Italy absolutely! I even wanted to stay in Florence more because of this hotel. The front desk lady is very graceful and nice, she helped us with everything we needed. The room was very big and clean, close to the street, but not nosiy at all. The decoration of the hotel felt like home once we walked in. The bed was huge! In a word everything was so perfect, I love this place.

Central hotel for Florence
Amazing room, spacious, well planned out. was able to add 2 beds at short notice with minimal fuss or cost. Fantastic location, close to the train station and the major sites. Room clean everyday and they did a wonderful job. also impressed with the communication of the hotel prior to our visit offering assistance and advice.
